  • I have it set to the dominant hand. They told me to reset it, and try the 100 step test- it should have an accuracy of 95%. It doesn't... I guess I will send it back? Disappointing!
  • My Charge HR is waiting at home, just delivered today! I am so excited to use it, and would love friends. :) https://www.fitbit.com/user/29N7M3
  • I dont know how the crescents function- could you use filo instead? Or, could you put teh ingredients in a pan, and just top with one roll of r/f crescents, like chicken pot pie style?
  • Never mind. Wrong thread.

  • I dont know why I hadnt thought of steaming it... yes that does make sense. Thanks! The addition of onions and garlic is so yummy! Of course, I think that almost everything is better with onions and garlic...
  • Roe, I like that idea! Thanks.
  • I really like a scramble- I use a protein, vegs, 1/2 c egg beaters, and sprinkle of cheese and hot sauce on tap. This week is two Boca sausages, fresh pico, fresh spinace, EB and mozzarella. It is awesome and filling!
  • I bet you could use a can of Campbells Cheddar Soup too. Sort of like Cheesy Sloppy Joes!
  • I have found that a couple of drops of sesame oil in place of the tahini gives it the same delicious flavor without so many calories and fats. It's really good with roasted garlic!
  • Canned diced tomatoes or tomato sauce with your own seasoning is also delicious.
  • I really like scrambles- lots of vegetables and a little protein, egg whites, and a sprinkle of cheese and salsa on top. I also like breakfast sandwiches. Protein of your choice, a slice of 2% cheese, egg beaters or an egg overhard, and some good bread.

  • Have you tried dry-roasting your vegetables at a hot temp? I spray my baking sheet with Pam, and put them in the oven plain and dry. I have found that they get a little brown and crispy quicker, so that I am not cooking the life out of them. (I Hate mushy vegetables) A hot oven is key- I roast at about 450. When they are…
  • Do you add it to things or drink it straight?
  • I have a Polar F6, and it definitely calculates calories based on your heart rate- the higher the rate the faster you burn.
  • The most accurate way is to get a heart rate monitor. When I used to try to estimate, or use the treadmill, it was always different. I think scales with perceived exertion also vary greatly.
  • A confusing question I have... Well first of all, I really love the concept of eating back my exercise cals. I particularly am enjoying gaining them back in a glass or two of red wine at night. Now to the ?- yesterday, there was a thread about your net amounts. Should your net equal your mfp goal?
  • You have to really understand and follow the plan to make it through the first phase. In phase one you can eat lean protein, one serving of nuts per day, vegetables (except carrots, potatoes and corn), one or two lf dairy, and a couple servings of legumes per day. Vegetables, dairy and legumes all have carbs in them. It is…
  • Really cook down the cauliflower, until it is fall-apart mushy. Use a immersion blender if you have one. Cauliflower is also good as faux mashed potatoes!
  • Thank you for translating me! Sorry for the jargon-speak- I am a creature of habit. Thanks for the welcome!
  • New to the program- this has all been very helpful! Thanks for the thread.
  • I would also bet money that you are seriously overestimating your calories burned during exercise. 900+ multiple days in a row is a LOT.
