I was told the "formula" is like 1 month for every year that you were married or something like that, but the truth is you'll know- but my advice from someone who's been there.... don't rush it. Take your time especially if you have kids. You need time to find the new you and develope as a single person. Take the time to…

the information on FREE foods for WW will be in the books and papers that you got when you started.

Sorry there are no FREE foods on MFP- I've done weight watchers too and it was an eye opener to look at the calories in fruits and veggies. i used to be able to fill up on those free foods when I did WW and now I have to count those calories. Which in my opinion is a better way to go- those FREE foods have calories, just…

Stretch marks -- be proud of them, you've had 2 wonderful kids and are lucky, so don't get too hung up on them. They don't usually go away even with all the creams or other advice that you read about. As for the rest if you are working out by doing some strength training that should take care of itself in time. You're…

If anyone has tried the Catalyst and any side effects or if it helped to burn more calories or retain/build muscle. Or any other information on AdvoCare products.

Jillian Michael's 30 day shred is a very good place to start. They are short and easy to fit into your day. They have cardio and strengthening in them. Push ups, squats, curls. They work most parts of your body. Legs, abs, arms, shoulders, back and chest. You do need some dumbbells.

I stopped calling it a diet and started to realize that yes I can have pizza I just can't sit down and eat the entire pizza 4 times a week. I don't restrict anything, I just eat a normal portion of it. I have to do this for the rest of my life and I refuse to not eat a french fry or a piece of birthday cake for the rest of…

I workout 6-7 days a week for 60 to 75 minutes. 3 days are strength training and 3 are aerobic, those are pretty much mandatory (per me, if I skip 2 days a week than I feel like I cheated) the 7th day is either a fun day or a rest day depending on how I feel. I also burn about 350 - 400 calories in my workouts. I will…

Thank you- I have been thinking about new shoes and will now do more than think, mine are about 3 yrs old and haven't gotten much use until recently but they are a cross trainer and not a true running shoe. I also have wondered about the strength in my legs, low back and hip/pelvic region as I have a very hard time holding…

It's not just boyfriends/girlfriends I've been married for 5 years and I just told MY HUSBAND how much I weighed 2 months ago- after I started MFP in May. It was extremely hard to tell him because I weighed more than he does. We started working out together in May he was 276 lbs he's now 206 lbs I was 273 and now weigh in…

I would suggest getting a heart rate monitor. It's been my experience that the calories burned on exercise equipment is usually higher than what my heart rate monitor says when I compare the two. If you plan to continue exercise then it's a good investment and can be highly motivational. I keep trying to burn a higher…

I also love mine- just make sure to set it up correctly. I ended up going on line and printing off the user guide and owner's manual. I needed more info then came in the little booklet with it.

I have a Polar FT7 and it set my zones for me. I had to enter my date of birth, weight and gender and it set my target heart rate for me thus my high and low zones. I was questioning if they were correct and googled target heart rate and found several web site for target heart rate calculators and my HRM was right on.

First of all I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I don't know how old you are but from my experience everything happens for a reason. I am 41 years old and have been happily married for the last 5 1/2 years. We have a 2 1/2 year old son. So the reason that I'm answering you is, and I'll try not to be to wordy, is…

If you are serious about watching calories invest in a heart rate monitor. Before I got one I tended to overestimate my calorie burn. It's so dependent on your body type and your intensity.
-
Thank you. I too have been lifting 3 days a week and doing cardio 3-4 days a week. Workouts are 60-90 minutes, depending on day and what time I get up. I was running 3.5 miles, very slow run, on my cardio days and occasionally throwing in a P90X cardio workout, usually plyometrics because I liked the squats and lunges. I…

You look great in that suit. Perfect curves. ..................so you're the same height as I am and close to the same shape, you're at my goal weight. Right now I'm 30 lbs above what you were when you started. What is your workout, calorie level and how long did it take for you to get there? Please share. I've already…
