  • Yes to this one! It's one of my favorites. That and just plain olive oil and vinegar with a little sea salt.
  • Loose Yourself by Eminem. I always pick up my pace when I hear this one. It reminds me of life. YOU ONLY GET ONE SHOT DO NOT MISS YOUR CHANCE........ After all that is life- One shot. I plan to make mine count.
  • I have been able to create my own exercises and then enter my time and the calories burned off of my HRM. For instance I have a personal exercise for "RUN 2 MILES WALK 2 MILES" and I can choose that then change the time and calories burned off my HRM. Since I never seem to manage to do it in the same time or burn the same…
  • This is the same on I have- do you have to wear the chest strap with it? I couldn't find any information on if it works without the chest strap in the owner's manual and I'm too afraid of not getting the data to try it without.
  • I think I'd ask the doctor what is the best way to clean this area off AFTER I work out and sweat all over it.
  • Yep, the answer to most questions-- Heart Rate Monitor. I love mine... makes me work harder when working out. I love to see that heart rate rise and those calories increase.
  • I have seen others ask this type of question and I'm curious why someone would wonder about it, I do not mean to be rude at all, I really am curious. I am trying to loose weight and the only calories that I add into MFP are the ones I burn while I'm actually working out. I never eat all of my exercise back. I consider any…
  • If this is true then why is it every month since I started tracking- the week before my period my weight either stays the same or goes up by .5 to 1 lb then the week of my period I lose from 4 to 6 lbs. I have noticed this and I'm not sure how to counter act this. I keep my calorie intake the same and my exercise amount…
  • Use your recipe tab, I've used this for lots of things I've made. It's easy.
  • You burn calories by just being alive. You should not count those calories that your HRM said you "burned" if you wear it all day, sorry to disappoint you. I don't know about anyone else but I only wear my HRM when I am working out to burn calories. Those I do count as exercise calories. The rest is just living- it'll…
  • I wouldn't. I only count my actual workout times. Anything else is above and beyond. It will show up on the scale at the end of the week.
  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING THIS. I have been wondering what that was for about 3 months.
  • I like the Dannon plain greek, although they just changed to something begging with an O. The fruit on the bottom is good and I like to mix in a little low fat granola or Grapenuts for some crunch. But my favorite is to use the plain and mix in about 3 tsp of Jello Instant Pudding mix Cheesecake flavor, I love cheesecake…
  • I don't know but it looks like it would be good.
  • I highly recommend you see a doctor. You're periods should not stop from a normal diet and exercise.
  • I continue to use real, natural sugar. I did switch to what they call raw sugar. It's only 16 calories per tsp and I just feel better about using it. I just use less of it. The only things that I use that are low calorie are Saralee delight multigrain bread and Land O Lakes light butter with canola oil. I stay away from…
  • My elbows-- the fat from my upper arms isn't hanging over my elbows when I strighten my arms and my wrists.
  • I'm sorry I have to disagree with this, for me anyway. First of all I've checked this, just last week using my HRM and I burned more calories running than I did walking a lot more. Science proves this because you burn 5 calories per liter of oxygen used. You could do this but you would have to walk at the same pace as you…
  • That's how I started. I had never been able to run. Not even in school. It was just uncomfortable and I couldn't breath when I did it. But after doing the P90X work outs for about 1 month I decided to try it. My goal was to run (jog) 1 mile and I did it. I've been at it for just over 1 month and I can now run (jog) for 3.5…
  • Thank you ---- I will be adding several of these songs to my playlist-- I can't believe I had forgotten about them.
  • Everything, from Will Smith- Switch and Getting Jiggy with it. To One Republic- Good Life- Pink- Perfect, Toby Keith- Beer For My Horses. BuckCherry- Crazy *****, actually his whole CD is on my playlist. To Seasons in the Sun, Spirit in the Sky, One Headlight, No More Mr. Nice Guy and Posion by Alice Cooper. But you know…
  • Not yet, when I reach my goal weight I that will be my reward. I plan on getting the names of my children and husband around my left ankle. My husband has 4 of them. So sexy.
  • I lost weight using MFP's numbers but I was not eating back those calories. I now have a heart rate monitor that I wear when I work out and MFP's calories are high. If you use them only eat back part of them.
  • This is so true. I recently started to run and can now run 3.5 miles without stopping. I also was doing plyometrics for about 2 months before I started. It strengthened my legs and butt. I was shocked the first time I ran, I went for a mile without stopping. Plyometrics is a killer, but I finally have some leg and butt…
  • You can run, you just choose not to. Don't let fear hold you back. Every journey starts with a first step so go out and take that first step. Tell yourself you can run and then just go out and see how far you can run then keep doing it everyday and increase time and distance. You might be surprised just how far you can go.
  • WOW !!!! You look great!
  • Be careful when doing this. I was doing this until I bought a HRM and the calories the MFP said I burned was way over. If you continue to track them on MFP I would not eat them back. I don't even count the calories I burn when weight lifting anymore. It isn't enough, but weights are very important as they build muscle…
  • Me on the Polar FT7. I love it.
  • I'm at 245 pounds right now and I have been running for 6 weeks. I'm very slow, I started by running 1 mile. I just wanted to see if I could do it. I had tried in the past and could not run. But like you I had been working out for a while and just wanted to see. The first time I did a mile it took me 19 minutes. I kept it…
