  • Right now I'm burning about 307 calories in 31 minutes. I'm excited about that for many reasons. One, I haven't exercised in sooooo long, and I just started back Two, I'm eating to lose 2 pounds a week already, so any calories burned will be "extra" since MFP expects you to eat back calories, and I don't. Once this workout…
  • Let that jealousy keep you motivated. Honestly, people aren't jealous for no reason, so you KNOW that you're doing something right. The thing about many families (sadly) is that there's always going to be someone who feels the need to compete with you, or be "better" than you in some way. I have family members who…
  • This had me DYING! OMG!      I definitely agree with the fiber suggestions. I don't really drink coffee, so I don't know much about that. The fruits should be helping you, too. Try drinking some juice, if you don't mind the sugar. However, since you have IBS, you should definitely ask…

  • It really does.... People don't understand what it's like in middle school and high school to have boys yelling out embarrassing things, and to have GROWN WOMEN assume you're "fast" or "active" because of how developed you are. I have never been able to buy cheap bras as an adult, and one time I called LANE BRYANT and was…
  • I'm going to be real with you, ok. (Hopefully I'm not breaking any MFP rules) It's a lot of pressure for women who share the same race as myself, to lose their tummy, arms, back fat, and double chins, while keeping a plump bottom, large or average size breasts, and huge legs. That's all these rappers talk about, and that's…
  • Just wanted to say God bless you all.
  • I'm just now seeing this one. Honestly, this has to be one of the best suggestions. Not like you're purposely trying to ruin her car, she'd be doing it herself.   And you guys have me dying! Some of your suggestions are just too hilarious.
  • I'd do option #2 because.... 1.) You are grown and don't have time for the nonsense. 2.) Karma is a generous b**** 3.)If you believe in God, he WILL come through for you. 4.) You're jogging to improve your life. Why risk it by provoking some looney toon, who seems like she MAY not move out of the way. Just because she…
  • That is SO awesome! Thank you for this great recipe!
  • WOW! You look so NICE! You're tiny! Great job!
  • Which is the reason I am also counting calories, because my "judgement" lead me to size 18/20 jeans. I'm also quite lazy, but that's not to be discussed....  I hope it works out for you, hun. I'm not hating on the way you do things. Some people DO say they exercise a lot to keep the weight off, and it works for…
  • I just saute mine using Pam cooking spray. I add in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sometimes I add chopped onions.
  • Thank you so much for the encouragement! :flowerforyou:
  • You know what, this makes a lot of since, and is definitely something to consider. I'm still sticking to 2lbs per week, and I'm trying to find new ways to eat so that I'll feel fuller. Mainly trying to add more veggies to my diet, and remove some of the snacks.
  • I'm actually quite jealous of this person in this GIF. :explode: :grumble:
  • HAHAHAHAH! MFP: Fat? CHECK! Carbs? CHECK! Protein? CHECK! Ice Cream? CHECK!
  • Too good to be true! OMG! I'm in love! Why didn't I read this BEFORE I got my groceries. I literally JUST finished putting my groceries up! UGH!:grumble:
  • I really don't know why. I just had some sugar free ice cream with honey graham cracker topping. I was so frustrated with my diet, and I think that actually brought me back to my senses. I'd bet the majority of us ice cream lovers are women.
  • You're right. I really DON'T have a healthy relationship with food. I went from only drinking diet sodas and purging (which resulted in a quick 45 lb weight loss) to a terrible binge eating habit. I think this "hunger" could possibly be somewhat emotional. I seem to be hungriest when I don't lose weight, or I discover that…
  • I do have issues with getting enough protein. Definitely. Is protein powder something I should add to my diet? Never tried it.
  • I follow this type of diet because the thought of eating meat has always felt yucky to me. I've unknowingly been a flexitarian my entire life. I hate knowing that I'm eating an actual animal. I was a pescetarian, but even THAT bothered me, so it's veggies only for me. However, I am not vegan. I still eat diary. I want to…
  • Right now I do VERY little exercise. I do anywhere from 25-40 minutes, 3 times per week.
  • Yep, that's me. Trying to lose all of this weight by next summer, so I can be "happy". Smh
  • Thank you so much for this! I'm going to check this out! :flowerforyou:
  • I believe that MAY be the issue. I now follow a vegetarian diet, and am a serious carb lover.
  • I'm actually feeling like this now. The calorie counting is driving me a little nuts, and I haven't lost anything in almost 2 weeks. I know it isn't that long, but OMG! It FEELS long when you're ALWAYS hungry.
  • Thanks everyone! You guys made some AWESOME suggestions. I can't wait to try these out! The first week I focused more on eggs, fish, veggies, fruits, and occasionally some brown rice. I really wasn't that hungry! This week, I've been eating these tiny veggie burgers, this SWEET corn, and 150 calorie whole wheat burger…
  • This past 4th of July, I sent my daughter out with her grandma and aunties. Me? I stayed home ALONE. Didn't enjoy any of the grilled food or fireworks. Why? Because I felt FAT! I actually sat at home, in front of my computer, asking myself "When are you going to live? You're 26 years old! Why are you letting life pass you…
  • Thank you for your responses My issue is that I'm a vegetarian. It's kind of hard for me to get enough protein, because I recently started eating this way. I went from eating a pescetarian diet, to being an ovo lacto vegetarian. I'll admit, I was fuller when I was eating the fish, but I'm trying to rid my diet of all meat.…
  • Girl NO! You do NOT have loose skin. Your arms are GREAT! LOL! Skin is VERY thin. A way to tell if you have a loose skin issue, is to pinch the skin on the back of your hand. See how thin that is? THAT'S skin. If you had thin skin like this hanging from you LOOSELY, then YES, that would be considered loose skin. People…
