  • MFP stands for My Fitness Pal
  • Only just found Blogilates on my search your thread has come up. Good luck with June, you seem very focused.
  • Thanks for sharing, you have done amazingly well and I hope you are proud of yourself, you definitely should be.
  • Best advice from me, be truthful and log absolutely everything, good, bad ugly, all of it. Good luck.
  • I'd be scared something crawled in my bowl!! If it does it again any time soon maybe a battery replacement is a good idea.
  • Super new to counting steps, hopefully my pedometer will arrive before the 1st. But I'd love to join in if thats ok? Do you post here or is there a group section?
  • Well done you, the change in those photos is incredible. The amazing energy that comes from you now! You will be an amazing instructor.
  • I just dont want to turn out like my Mum/Nan (pretty much most of the other females in my family), I almost need to prove that its not a genetic excuse. My Great-Aunt died on the op table basically due to her weight. I refuse to go like that! I also would love to be a total sexy-pants for DH, he may be proud of me for…
  • I've started an August goals group http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/22773-august-2014-your-goals0 Focus on August and hopefully find some motivation and support through it to boost my weight loss and keep me accountable.
  • You look absolutely fabulous. Congratulations on your baby and for your determination and drive.
  • Well done you! what an amazing achievement. Congratulation on your baby and new body!
  • Hey there, I really like your mini goal focus. Makes things seem so much better and manageable. I'm a SAHM, 4 kids (youngest is coming up for 6 months) It seems all I've done yo-yo for years Sometimes i get to the point where I'm so stretched for time I'll just grab anything to snack on and of course its not carrots sticks…
  • I drink more or if possible brush my teeth (probably weird answer)
  • You are a star! Great job :) I'm on W7 of the same plan too and can only wish of being able to cover that distance!! Well done, and I'm really pleased you updated.
  • I agree with the others who said getting outside might be a better option for the running. I'm currently doing the NHS C25K plan (they even have a really supportive website too), its really good and I'm on Week 7 now, from the first week running 60seconds seemed hard, now I'm out doing 25minutes at a time! I'm no speed…
  • Didn't realise there were so many of us around the same height. I'm 30, 5'2" and currently 143lb, I know from previous weight losses I dont look good at anything under 120lb, 130lb is much more realistic and achievable. Though I'm looking for small step goal, first stop 140lb, then 133lb. I'm not too worried about BMI and…
  • You're my inspiration too doing that :) Well done you!
  • Well done, that's got to be a huge confidence boost.
  • There is a thread already for this if it helps..... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/387466-podcast-and-app-reviews I'm in the UK so use the free NHS C25K plan.
  • I'm pretty much the same as fourluvbugs, Cover around 2miles and once I'm home I'll have some water and depending on the time I went out I may have a banana or a cereal bar. Generally dont do any specific resting either, just some stretches once I'm home.
  • I use Dance central (I like the workout mode calorie counter) and enjoy Kinect Sports (you can download a calorie pack for that too) and have Biggest Loser as well. If I'm thinking of calorie burn I'll do Dance Central over the others. I use BL when I want a focused workout (weights etc) I like to download the demos so…
  • Well done, that's a great time and a really good reason to be out there too.

  • Hi, and welcome. Well done on starting the programme. I'm using the NHS podcsts too. Went trying to work out my calories burned I work out my route (I use map my run) then the time to do MPH I use that as the average and enter in as Walking -very brisk pace - 4.0mph, 35minutes (for example) I know its not an accurate way…
  • Well done, you are doing brilliantly! Definitely an inspiration to the rest of us.
  • Smelly. lol had a section of runner as I passed a sewer works....not best for deep inhalations.
  • Completed w4 this morning. Its a great programme and as phillieschic wrote it really boosts confidence and make you feel proud of your achievements. Really enjoying this. I use the NHS podcasts. There are a couple of groups with others doing the C25K, good for motivation and tip swapping. I hope you get on well.
  • Probably not going to of much help either but currently I'm in seem-free undies that I usually wear. Not caused any problems yet.
  • You can do this!!! Hope it goes well for you!

  • If you want to do this then put your positive head on and be determined to!! You can definitely do it. I use the NHS free C25K podcasts, I like how they are presented. (I'll be doing week 4 day 3 tomorrow) I have a really long winded way of logging the exercise, I do the session then map it on MapMyRun to find the…
  • Great job, congratulations. If you are in the uk perhaps have a look at parkruns in your area.
