  • Haha! Mom of 7 here....10 and under..have about 40 pounds to lose....and big families are awesome :)
  • I am BFing my 7th baby. I have lost weight with BFing but it is slower and the last couple kids it wasn't till about 4 months that I started a consistent (slow) loss. Keep at it and try to get in some exercise. I know it is frustrating, but if you think breast is best for your baby, then it will be totally worth it! Enjoy…
  • Haha! I had my period go away when I lost a lot of weight and started exercising hard...it was only 13 weeks..then 8, then 5 for a few months before it got back to normal. About the not having the periods suck stuff...lol...I have never had rough periods, weight gain, cramps, etc..and I have 6 kids....so obviously I…
  • 30 day shred, t25 (both only about 20-25 minutes :) ) Tirbojam is fun but longer (most days), I like to find some on pinterest too to change it up or if I need a quicker worlout :)
  • I think Shakeology works for some. I honestly just can't afford it (though when I was a coach I was told to tell people "you can't afford to not drink it" wih comparisons to how much a Mcdonalds meal costs, or a whopper meal, etc...only thing is...the people who I was "coaching" were like me..stay at home moms who weren't…
  • With exclusively BFing.....started back at 4 months with my first 3, 7 with my 4th, and 5 with my 5th and 6th...
  • Like Kara said.....walking is fine, and light exercise as long as you are not straining anything. You do not want to do any sort of "tummy " things till after your appointment...I can not remember what it is called...but you can damage the muscles and they won't go back together (thus..you look pregnant forever..lol) Until…
  • Barring an underlying medical condition (thyroid?)....could you put your toddler in a stroller for your walk so you could go faster (and get the extra "workout" of pushing the stroller)? the stairs sounded like a good idea....there's videos like "walk off the pounds" that are gentle to start with...I'd say keep going, make…
  • My streak was over 400 days ...I missed a day...the day I had my baby....back to 0...it happens....
  • Already your friend :) Do they like celery and peanut butter? or apples and pb? my kiddos will munch on carrots and cucumbers too. trail mix....
  • My husband does Paleo....I myself, while able to give a lot of the wheat, still eat "non paleo" foods and dairy :) It works for him and he likes it a lot..I just can't do the no wheat thing :( The biggest con in my opinion (of you don't mind giving up those foods) is that it does get boring if you don't take the time to…

  • What everyone said :) And you need NO experience to be a BB coach..just sign up...you get your Shakeology for 25% off the retail and get a kickback on anything you sell....or coaches under you sell. I was a coach...but was unsuccessful because (according to my coach) I "wasn't pushy enough". LOL....True story...we went to…
  • I can see why you want to stop her problem before it BECOMES a real problem (she's 6 and her weight is BORDERLINE)...but I wouldn't talk to my 6 year old about LOSING WEIGHT.........kinda sets her up for issues in my opinion.....I agree if you buy the food you are in charge....but also see why you want her to understand.…
  • I did 26 lbs in 12 weeks...and it was rough...but I'm in! I need to lose this baby weight! O..6 kids, youngest is 4 months :)

  • My baby is 3 weeks and I have about 40 to lose..
  • 37 WEEKS....I STARTED OUT OVERWEIGHT BY ABOUT 20 POUNDS, SO I WANTED TO TRY TO KEEP THE WEIGHT IN CHECK BY HEALTHY EATING AND EXERCISE. I'VE PROBBALY GAINED ABOUT 20 POUNDS, AND 8 OF IT WAS IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS :( GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!! I WILL BE BUSTING MY BUTT AFTER RECOVERY TO TRY TO GET BACK DOWN TO THE WEIGHT I WAS…
  • I was going to say the same thing. I am 28 weeks and have been doing Crossfitmom the whole time and will continue till baby comes as I did last pregnancy. It is usually fine to continue with a program you were doing prepregnancy, but if you have not been lifting these past 30 weeks, then to start now might cause you…

  • I personally quit using it while pregnant b/c it made me feel sooo sick :( That being said, I second the idea of taking the ingredient list to your doctor and asking. Any vitamins in it are pretty small amounts, really...but it may have something not good for pregnancy. The OLD formula was fine, but I know they have…
  • Pregnant with my 6th and my oldest is 7. I am a stay at home mom and homeschool ....I always tried to get up before the kids and workout, but this pregnancy has me exhausted and it doesn't really work out. I can usually fit it in sometime in the morning after they are fed and playing, but definitely not the P90X stuff I…
  • Best to consult your doctor. I have NEVER had a doctor tell me how many calories to eat (this my 6th pregnancy) I think if they see healthy weight and gain, they figure you are doing it right. I never really counted calories in pregnancy..ate when I was hungry and tried to keep it "good foods". Good luck on your pregnancy!

  • Hmmm.....when I did P90X I remmeber eating about 1500 calories and my husband was 1800. But I think we just listened to his "coach" who also told me to eat 1200 (even though I was still BFing ) and not eat back exercise calories....so I think he didn't really know what he was talking about :P I was pretty much at goal…
  • I usually try for the morning then walk at night if I can. I couldn't do it all at night. My days are too long, I want to relax at night!
  • I'm 30 with 5 kids and one on the way. Right now I'm not losing, but I did egt down to prepregnancy before my last pregnancy, then gained 40 pounds with him and never got it all off before becoming pregnant with this one. So I'm trying to keep in shape during this pregnnacy so I can burn it all off after :)
  • I have 5 kids age 1-7, and I have never used a harness on any of them. I don't live in a busy city though and just teach them if they run away they lose a privilege. I have never had a problem. I can take all 5 on a walk, even crossing the highway in town, with only the one year old in a stroller, and they do fine. But I…
  • Only when I'm pregnant or have a flu starting....or haven't worked out for several days and start working again.
  • 30 pounds in 12 weeks...and kept it off...until I got pregnant.. :P
  • I love mine, but only bc i can put spinach or kale in my shake with fruit and it actually gets shredded and pureed (i guess?) which most blenders can't do (at least not my oster). I didn't realize it was such a hot product though... :)
