  • Well, did one full circuit today. I did the jumping jacks, butt kicks and twist jumps in the pool, but the rest on the dry ground. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. I broke it up and did at least 60 of each (I forgot my sheet at home and could not remember the order after squats) and was okay. I will be able to…
  • Just returned from a weekend retreat and will work on this challenge for the rest of the week. I will do some of these in the pool (i.e. jumping jacks) because I can not jump with my bad knees. Let's see if I can do this tomorrow.
  • Having a tough time getting in 5 veggies and fruit. I upped my veggies to 2 - 3 servings per day this month and am getting that in. Will keep trying. The exercise is hard on the arms, but am plugging away and getting in at least one rep per day along with the other exercise I am doing. Hope everyone else is doing well.

If I do heavy stuff that I only do once in a while and on those days, I do not have time to do any other exercise, I break a sweat and am exhausted at the end of the day, I count it.   • I am working on rowing as one of my cardio exercises for this month. I hope to row at least 3 times every week and do a minimum of 30 minutes. That means 9 to 11 miles. I set my goal for 12 miles so that will make me push it just a little.

  • I don't know what you are doing for cardio, but I try to mix mine up. I will row one day, use the elliptical the next, ride the stationary bike and I also swim. This keeps the boredom at bay and uses different muscles. Just a thought. Carla

  • I ride the bike (stationary and regular), do zumba, use the elliptical, started doing some rowing (machine), strength training, circuit training, swim, aquafit, walk the dog, and that is about it.
