For me... Before buying a scale and weighing my foods (sometimes still difficult for certain foods) I would measure foods and use the database info with my measured food serving in. I would report most days at 1200 to 1300 calories. After getting a scale I learned 2 things... 1. I was overestimating some foods (like peanut…

I don't know how to attach a picture... :(

It's different for each person... The average I think is 15 to 25 pounds. For me it was closer to 50 before I dropped a size.

I love mine. I have a gear fit 1. And love being able to track my heart rate throughout the entire workout and have a summary of high low and average rate. I love that if I stop moving (like waiting on traffic) the tracker pauses progress automatically and resumes when you do. It also let's you know when you are 25%…

Some misinformation is linked to misunderstanding. Like with the whole muscle weighing more than fat... Sure 1 pound of fat and 1 pound of muscle both weight 1 pound but the volume is different. Fat of the same weight takes up more space than that of muscle... So the misunderstanding is that muscle weighs more than fat (by…

The coasters that are most problematic do have test seats at the gate to each ride... Though the newer rides the wait line may extend past the rides entrance gate
-
I could NOT fit most coasters either because I couldn't get my knees down low enough (36 inch inseam) or my boobs were too big (40HH)
-
Yes Cedar point near Sandusky Ohio and Kings Island near Mason Ohio. That said I at a size 22 couldn't fit in most of the rides not so much because of my size but combined with my height ( 6'1) and like jessiswallow my chest (40HH).
-
Yep I too didn't realize until I was looking at a picture... I should start taking weekly pix what a great idea fireturtle75 Paulawalladingdong: I wish my boobs would get smaller! I dropped a band size so far but it made my cup size go up because my boobs stayed the same size... If it happens again I'll have to custom…

Most coasters go by if you fit in the seat and harness and many have test seats at the entrance to each coaster to see if you 1. Fit in the seat 2. Can fasten/pull down the shoulder restraints. The only thing you can't tell using the test seat is if you are too tall. I had one coaster I fit in the test seat so waited…

1200 to 1400 has been my average for 3 years now... Before that I was on the NS program but didn't do well... Blood sugar kept going into the low 50s. Great concepts I need to reapply some of them and get back on track again.... Depression can be a killer for weight loss with me

This was when I was in high school and not fat by any means... No... I wish I could that small again... Ok maybe not quite that small maybe 4 years later from that when I could afford to eat regularly and had a job where I was heavily active pushing and pulling 500 pound carts for 8 hrs per day and running stairs for…

I agree... I don't think BMI takes unto consideration for chest size. According to BMI I should be between 150 and 170 but when I didn't eat but maybe 400 calories a day and you could see my ribs and hip bones quite clearly I weighed 180... So how could I get down to anything lower without looking like a walking corpse?
-
I think this is in reference to foods that do not have labels fresh produce for example or that people realize have sugar but don't realize how much exactly for example watermelon... I know I was shocked by how much sugar is in vinegar when I looked it up online... Same with watermelon...

OK double checked... Yes it's 1 serving is 32g but it is 2 tablespoons not 1. But it is still less calories used than I was actually using. Which was a nice surprise.

:o wow. I'm currently a size 24 and would be in disbelief to find myself a size 8. I've never been smaller than a 14! What an amazing job! You are an inspiration. I really need to add strength training to my cardio... I love walking... I get my ears on and just go. It's a good escape for me from the stresses of the day. My…

So far so good... Weighing each item takes a bit of time but it's been good to see the things I was grossly overestimating versus things I was underestimating on. Overall since Friday I realize that when I thought I was routinely eating around 1000 calories those days were actually 1400. I did eat 1460 yesterday which was…

Hmm.. Are we supposed to be realistic? Realistic want: chocolate Someday realistically : to be skinny Not so much likely : to be chosen... Really chosen. Complete fantasy: to not have mandibular hypoplastic retrognathia. (ooh medical terms! Means my lower jaw didn't grow at a proper rate and is smaller than my upper jaw…

If I let myself be a grazers I would inevitably 1. eat more than I should 2. End up not logging half of what I ate. Now I have to figure out how to weigh food before its cooked when I'm not the one cooking.
-
Up until Friday the only time I weighed my food was when it was charged for by the ounce lol. However, when logging prior to Friday I used volume to get close to what I would then log. Most of the time I would knowingly over estimate my amounts in hopes that choosing an amount more than what was eaten would make up for any…
-
Ok.. This sounds plausible... Takes a little more work and a little math but I can see this working for me... Weigh the entire amount dry... Then again when cooked then the portion I eat as cooked then find the difference between the portion eaten cooked compared to the total portion in relation to the total dry portion.…
-
The package doesn't specify raw vs cooked it just states Serving Size: 1 Pouch (43g) calories 160. Then lists the percentage of vitamin, minerals, Carb, protein, sugar etcetera.
-
This weighing everything is alot of work lol but I am committed to losing this weight.

My response is bolded

They're cooked weights if I'm eating it cooked raw weights if I'm eating it raw. Does that make sense? Basically I weigh each food item as I put it on the plate/bowl taring the weight before adding the next item. Once the portion I plan to eat is met then I sit and eat lol. But that brings me to another question... There…

I can't... But my weight is 298.2
