  • I haven't eaten after 7pm in a very very long time and I had good success with it. Most of the time people only eat after 7 to snack, cut out the snacks and the weight will come off :)
  • yes :) i am 5'9" and 117 lbs. I lost close to 30 lbs since starting MFP and I've kept the weight off no problem. I lost the weight over the coarse of a year or 2, thus slowly "shrinking" my stomach. If you lose weight quickly, yes you will be thinner but alot hungrier because ur stomach never got smaller it just got empty…
  • haha just check out my diary, i am waaaaay under
  • i love the broccoli alfredo pasta, its a 10 ;)
  • Becoming friends with people with public diaries usually gives great ideas! I don't know what ur budget is and being that fruit is often verrrry expensive, it's sometimes hard to eat healthy. Drinking lots of water helps when trying to lose weight, make sure u have low sodium in ur diet and alternating a low fat/ low carb…
  • Breakfast jump starts ur metabolism! making u hungry....BUT eating breakfast helps with weightloss, if u skip breakfast u slow down ur metabolism. The best thing to do is drink plenty of water, especially when feeling hungry to subside the hunger. Water will fill u up before lunch and u won't be as hungry, and won't eat as…
  • 1 mile = 100 calories, 5.5 miles = 550 calories and so on, measure this way.
  • i hit a plateau at about 7 lbs lost, i couldn't lose weight for about a month until i switched my diet. I alternate low carb, low fat diets and now the weight is really coming off. i've lost 12 lbs now after i got over that obstacle. it's all about having a variety in ur diet. :)
  • I'm 5'9, currently 137lbs, going for 125lb
  • don't let frustration get to you, otherwise you will go back to your old eating habits or even binge eat. the only advise i can give is to watch your diet more closely. walking is a great exercise to tone legs and lose weight. it is the most effective.
  • well the place looks delicious! i would definitely pick seafood, or pasta with just tomato sauce. the grilled salmon would be my first choice, and the pasta caprese would be my second (without the cheese). :)
  • I don't drink it. I drink water. Drinking diet soda instead of regular soda cuts out alot of calories, BUT all the artificial sugar actually slows the metabolism. I advise drinking it instead of regular soda if you crave soda; otherwise, water is the way to go!
  • 9 lbs is definitely acheivable by february 20th. The best way to lose the weight is lots of walking/running. Walking not only tones your legs, but your stomach too. When you walk, stomach muscles tighten too. Watch what you're eating as well and u will get that weight off!! :)

  • no. diet and exercise is what it takes. a diet pill may work for about 2 weeks, but then the weight packs right back on and you usually gain even more.
  • "smart lite" bread with nutella :)
  • bananas are good and bad. bad: high in sugar and carbs. good: high in potassium. I usually use blueberries in my cereal or raisins. (raisins are high in sugar too though). :) hope this helps!
  • i just watched it too!! love that show....now im watching made lol it's all about determination
  • I've been a cross country runner the past 6 years of my life. My best time being 19:51. I would say push yourself as if you are training for a longer race, and run the 5K. You will reach you goal to be in the 23ish range if you train as if you are to run an 8K. Interval running does wonders! I call it a "minutes run". You…
  • It all depends what you are doing to lose weight. For instance, if you are doing alot of exercising, you are probably building muscle (which we know weighs more than fat). Have you measured your waist or hips? Are your pants looser? Sometimes the number on the scale isn't the only indication that you are losing weight. I…
  • she has motivation to lose weight, BUT when she doesn't see results she just goes back to kind of eating all day out of boredom and stress :/
  • Thank you so much! Hope all goes well with your weight loss :)
  • you are verrrrry busy! i would suggest 10 minute pilates at home then. it incorporates planks, flexers, and alot of other ways that your body is get into better shape :)
  • I have those 5, and my 6th is cholesterol. A healthy heart makes a healthy person after all :)
  • I have never taken a class. I keep myself determined to fit into my smaller jeans. I try them on, they don't fit, I hit the gym. It's all in your mind. I don't need someone pushing me because i'm strong enough to push myself. Anyone is strong enough, you just need to search. If you dream of cupcakes, ask yourself..."how…
  • 5 miles is 5 miles. You burn the same amount of calories if you run 5 miles vs walking 5 miles. It just takes longer to walk. Walking is one of the best exercises and you will see yourself shed the weight if you continue to walk everyday. :) goodluck!
  • If I were you, I would order off the fresh fish menu. This has the fewest amt of calories. The half of Tilapia has about 250 or less calories I believe. Then as a side, choose broccoli. Healthiest and lowest fat meal you can get :)
  • Don't lose motivation! Determination is what got you to lose 50 lbs, and you need to tell yourself that the change WILL happen. It's hard not seeing the results you expect, but the results WILL appear. Disappointed often leads to binge eating which can pack the weight right back on. Don't be bummed that the size smaller…
