Ah right ok, so I need to almost stop worrying about my weight and actually crack on with toning and things? So ... what's the best way to lose body fat?? My scales tell me I'm about 33% fat ... that sounds like LOADS!!xx

It's day 3 for me today, but I've not been able to stick the dvd in yet ... I can't bend down to put it in!! OOOOOOWWWWW!!

I just started today, so count me in! I could just about keep up today and am proud to say I didn't have to modify the moves or take a break! Sweating like a pig though ;-) Was considering exchanging my tins of macaroni cheese hand weights in for jars of pasta sauce! I like a challenge!

I ordered a hoop last week and have used it a couple of times. Great fun, but ouch! I've got 2 big black bruises on my hips! How long do you need to hoop for until your body get used to it?

I'm 5ft 2! It's a pain putting on weight because it really shows, but equally if you lose it it really shows too! Bring it on ladies! xx

I almost fall off the wagon fairly frequently, but my secret is having fairly close goals to aim for so there's still a "point" to your weight loss :-) Just things like birthdays, weddings, etc. Usually things with cameras!! You want photos to reflect your hard work :-) best of luck!xx

I'm the same ... my tummy is always a bit tubby! My miracle cure is pilates :-) Buy yourself a home dvd and in a month or so you'll notice a difference. Do take photos though - it's hard seeing progress in the mirror!xx

Aw great, thanks everyone! I'm not too far off the weight I'd like to be, so fancied more concentrating on toning up and things. I really enjoy pilates, so I guess that's reason enough to stick with it! Thanks again, you're all really encouraging :-) xx

I'm facing a similar problem! I finish Uni (after 5 years!) this Friday and I am DEFINITELY going out to celebrate ... I'm dead chuffed with my weight loss, but determined to let it not get in the way of a good party :-D My advice would be: - Only drink spirits with calorie free mixers - Drink lots of water in between…
