5'9 and 170 here, at around 15% body fat. going for around 12%, but i'd like to say slim, rather than get huge. Started at 190ish and about 22%BF.

Thanks everyone, i've been working out about 6 days a week for around 30 minutes and sticking to around 1500 clean calories a day, tons of water and plenty of sleep. what kind of knowledge were you looking for? 100 pounds is a great end state, but you might keep yourself more motivated by setting smaller goals that are easier to reach.

the late night cravings are a mental thing for me. instead of finishing my night with TV featuring all the fast food i stopped eating, i switched to reading. Sometimes i think it's just easier to remove myself from a temptation, instead of trying to resist it.

the hunger pangs stopped after about 2 weeks, and my only advise is to get snacks if you're dying and drink tons of water to keep your stomach from rebelling. hope this helps

i think having the motivation to lose weight is a great thing, but pretty much everything in this post sounds like a greatest hits album of the worst ideas ever.
