I live in New Zealand too. Yes we have hotdogs and apple pie, except 'hotdogs' here are what you call corn dogs and the hot dogs in a bun are known as 'American hotdogs'. Although I am told by my American husband that the hot dog we put in the bun is nothing like the ones in the states LOL.

Omlette, with onion, garlic, spinach and fresh herbs.

Yep, lately I am a fan of cooking up a big pot of brown rice, to last me 4 - 5 days. Each day I add to a 1/2 cup portion of rice, grilled chicken breast or tuna and a good 1 -2 cups of coleslaw (minus the dressing). Often I mix it all up and add a tablespoon of low fat dressing (low fat blue cheese is my favourite). Works…

I have a TV set up in the room I workout at home - so can easily do half an hour or so watching a show, or switching to the music channel for a bit. I usually mix up my routine every day too, so I dont get bored.

Sticking with the mexican theme, last week I made what I like to refer to as - the healthy version of a Crunchwrap - like what you get from Taco Bell. I took two light tortilla wraps (110cals each), and put in between them (much like a quesadilla): Cooked Pork Mince (can use any type of ground meat) Diced tomatoes Diced…

I have an elliptical I bought a few months back, I use it most days for 20 - 30 minutes mostly. I am also trying out a few different strength workout DVD's. The 30 day Shred is good. There is also a whole bunch of vids on You Tube you can try. I have a yoga mat for floor exercises and a swiss ball. I also have a light set…

I don't have any male friends here on MFP. I have only ever had friend requests from guys when I changed my profile pic to a Victoria's Secret Swimsuit model (inspiration for me). I swear to god, I had like 6 requests from males, within the hour lol. That aside, I share a lot of 'girls' issues/ problems, which somehow end…

It really annoys me Burgerfuel dont have kj/ cal info on their website. It's the one thing my work always has as work 'shouts', so sometimes I cant avoid it. I only ever have the 'slick chick', so usually record it as ' small chicken burger', then add extra 'aoli' to my diary.

At the very begining of my time at MFP I lost 2.5kg's in a week.

I agree with all of this - try and stick to a cheat meal once a week. I know if I have a 'cheat day' it turns ugly and I seriously eat everything in sight which, for me, can undo a weeks worth of hard work!!!

Ohhh, I love Grease Dance too, much to my husbands horror!!
-
Yep, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dance Central and probably do it 1 -2 times a week. I have the Fitness evolution game too, but to be honest, I find it too frustrating, hate the way it takes so long to load up inbetween different modules etc. ANd I have a problem with it not 'seeing' me. However, I do like the jump rope module on it.…

I was the same, after my 2 week 'pig out' I had put on a few kg's, and I could feel it! And yes I got very grumpy and slept a whole lot more. Feel much better only 3 days into better eating. Feel lighter with much more energy :)

You have to make your vegies taste good by using low fat sauces, seasonings and other low fat additions. Salads - disgise the vege with chopped up boiled egg or low fat cheese. Find a yummy low/ no fat dressing to add Steamed brocolli - I almost always add grated (shreaded) low fat cheese to the top - yum! Steamed/ roasted…
