Coffee. I absolutely love it, but I have stomach issues that I try to take care of naturally and it just kicks my acid reflux up to a really uncomfortable level. I try to compensate with richly flavored teas, like almond. Mmmm. I’m also really salt sensitive so if I have too much, that will also make my reflux go crazy.…

Hard boiled eggs or plain yogurt with berries and/or some granola. Or I’ll just grab a quest protein cookie if I have it handy depending on how hard the workout is. They’re high in calories.

I take them and have experienced amazing results. I suffer from terrible GERD and it got to a point where I had to go on PPI's for an ulcer. Once the ulcer was healed and my stomach was settled, my doctor suggested that I try a probiotic to balance everything out in my gut. It has worked wonders. I 100% believe that they…

I get this with cardio. Ugh, the worst. Right now I'm sitting here just feeling drained and awful -- and my workout was five hours ago. It doesn't happen with strength training in my case but I do feel for you.

I love PB2..it's a great option!

I find that it helps keep me up longer which in my case, is a good thing. If i don't work out at night, I will lay on the couch at 7pm and just fall asleep. I hate that. I used to have an issue where if I did cardio at night I would sleep terribly, but that seems to have passed.

I teach an athletic style barre that incorporates cardio and strength, but I mainly categorize it as strength.

Oh sweetie - what you did was still amazing! Do not let this get you down! Just realizing the situation you're in and doing something about it already makes you a winner in my eyes. Do a little more each day and you will be amazed with how far you come. And as a group exercise instructor, I always say that it's not about…

Mine worked for a day or two and doesn't seem like it's been syncing for quite a few days now. I don't actually really track anything for results but I like to see everything laid out as a whole, so it's frustrating.

I seem to be having issues again too. Worked for a day or two then back to issues again.

Kickboxing is my absolute favorite! Nothing better than kicking and punching, especially when you are annoyed at something!

My first thought was maybe your bike is not adjusted properly, which is what some others have mentioned as well. You need to make sure your seat is up high enough that you have a bend in your leg but not TOO bent, or you'll have pain.

I always have to eat before I exercise, but it has to be about an hour and a half to two hours beforehand. And even at two hours, with the intensity of my cardio, I'm prone to side stitches. i can't work out without having something in my system. I will not be able to power through whatever it is i'm doing. But everyone is…

I get fatigued after tough HIIT but never for more than an afternoon or a day after - and usually not the whole day. For me, it’s an endurance thing. How long have you been exercising like that for? Could be you’re just pushing yourself too much and haven’t yet built up the endurance for it. Make sure you’re hydrating,…

I’m a group fitness instructor and trust me, nobody is even paying attention to anyone else. You do your thing and get your workout in girl! Bodycombat is my FAVORITE! It takes a little while to get the steps down but once you do, any combo they throw at you is no biggie.

I'm a 5:30 AMer over here!! I do super intense boot camp style workouts 3-4 times a week. I like it because if I have a rough day at work or am too tired to work out after my shift, I don't have to worry about it because it's all taken care of! As far as metabolism goes, I really don't know. But I definitely prefer the…

Thanks for all the replies, everyone. And no, I'm not referring to the people at my workplace as fat slobs. in fact, I love many of the people I work with. But the eating habits there are not of the best quality. THAT'S the point I was making. I'm in no way judging their size or even them as people, because they are (for…

YES! Drug reps and their gifts of food are EVILLLL! Evil I say!

I haven't read everybody else's responses but I think I'm probably just reiterating what they've already said. If you want to be with friends, then go ahead and meet up with them. However, exhibit self control. Either budget to have some food/drinks within your calorie allowance, do a little bit of extra exercise, do…

I eat around six times a day to keep my metabolism going.

^This I have a small frame but still have weight on my hips, butt and thighs that need to go. So really, I COULD stand to lose another 7 lbs or so, people just don't notice it because I wear scrubs all day and cover it up. I do have quite a bit of fat in those areas though that needs to be blasted away and that's why I'm…

I'm right there with you!!! My mom made banana chocolate chip mini muffins yesterday and I already ate four of them this morning with my breakfast. She called me on the phone and goes "you're gonna be mad but...I made muffins." Banana choco chip is my FAVORITE. I just can't NOT eat them!

Hers is just metabolism. The kid eats and eats and never gains! She's a teenager, I guess that's why. I was verrrrry thin when I was young too and ate everything in sight. Then it backfired. I keep trying to warn her.
-
Wow, really?! I thought it was closer to the higher range. Thank you for letting me know! And thank you for the nice compliment :)
-
This would be EPIC!

I never actually EAT 1200 calories. I eat 14-1700 calories a day. If you look in my diary, you'd see that.
-
Exactly!!! The norm IS skewed so people who are overweight look at those who are thin as being too thin when that's just not the case at all!! My grandmother is over 200 lbs and tells my sister and I every day that we're too thin. Fact of the matter is, she is just way too large, unhealthy, and out of her mind. We have to…

Blah yeah. I've come to discover a lot about myself after being on MFP for over a year. I'm an emotional eater and it sucks!!!
-
I'm not always hungry, I'm just always bored at work and tend to eat out of boredom and mistake it for hunger. My work environment is a drag.

Some of them say it because they care. Others say it because they're nasty, and that's what bothers me. The one lady at work the other day was saying stuff to me and I told her how much I weigh and i was like "130 is at the upper half of the healthy weight range for my height" and she goes "for what, an emaciated person?…
