Team 2 lives!!!

Looks like I stuffed something up - team 2 doesn't exist! Well that's about right - tried to join team 3 and can't as I set up team 2 that doesn't exist!

Lots of change for people in the group and, for me, change is good, keeps things fresh. As we get closer the end of a year that will be in the history books for future generations and we are very keen to see it end I think we should see the terms and conditions page for 2021 before we sign up. Let's hope the Mayans weren't…

A day away and you get 4 pages behind!!! I have set up the second team for the asics run @eleanorhawkins called 'MFP Monthly Challenge Group' with the password 0102 Thank you for all your positive thoughts on the job front - you did a great job and I start on Monday! @noblsheep how is the hip flexor working out? @Scott6255…

You don't have to weigh in to be part of the group @kilobykilo - the scales aren't the only measurement and you need to take your journey down the most successful path for you and I for one would like you to share that journey with us 😊

Sorry, skipping through. Up at 4am for a 200 mile drive for an interview, off tomorrow to see my Dad for another 150 miles and then back to pick my daughter up from the airport before doing almost the same again on Friday. Got to keep putting yourself out there if things are going to happen. No time for running right now.

Each week is Sunday to Saturday 😊

You are both braver than me @Avidkeo and @rheddmobile so I joined a gym for 3 months for dreadmill runs Sending positive thoughts to you all! Today was 90 minutes cycling, 90 minutes walking and 70 minutes running - I think 30 minutes hot tub is next 😊

So yesterday I ran in the morning, took a tiny bike ride to the shop with a bent wheel, and went for a swim in the afternoon - I'm ticking that off as a mini-triathlon. Job done! 😊

Everyone knows you would have done the challenge and your support to us was invaluable, you are as much a part of the success in this challenge as anyone else. Totally deserve a medal 😊

Sending out so many positive thoughts to many including @Mari33a and @marisap2010 You know this makes it sound like you stole them off his washing line! 😊 You are going to rock Monday @quilteryoyo Loving the bling @ContraryMaryMary Do you know the brand of the vending machine @katharmonic as I think we all need one of…

Given the turn in the weather I have joined a leisure centre for the next 3 months and it has a pool so I can add a bit more variety. Good news @Avidkeo and here's hoping for the next run. I will PM you on the medals @Camaramandy648 All of this is positive news @kgirlhart and having been through the final selection process…

No problem. Much cheaper from the UK than the US.

@kristinajeang much as we all love our shoes (and I am a mad Asics fan as the instep support and gel cushioning suits me) the best thing to do is get a gait analysis from a running shop. It will tell you whether you heel impact, overpronate, etc. They will sell you an expensive pair of shoes which is fair enough as they…

Not sure if this is a NSV or a “darn it, gotta buy more clothes”. This is the pile of clothes that no longer fit and have to be sorted for the charity shop or recycling. Happily it includes the interim cheap things I bought as a stop gap when I wasn’t prepared to invest good money knowing I had quite a lot more weights to…

@eleanorhawkins @Faebert and anyone else who has a UK address available who was in the PV Boston challenge, I will get the medals shipped to me and I can forward them on to your UK address (work won't mind so no cost!). I can get them sent to mainland Europe though work would notice that so it will have to be Royal Mail.…

That is amazing @Camaramandy648 and you are such an inspiration. Welcome to all our newbies, obviously the running bug is contagious at this time of year 😊 - follow @Camaramandy648 as an example. Rubbish weather, took the hillier route, camel pack wasn't working so had to faff with bottles, putting the waterproof on,…

Rubbish weather, took the hillier route, camel pack wasn't working so had to faff with bottles, putting the waterproof on, taking it off again - still smashed my HM PB by 7 minutes. Happy bunny 🐰

I'll be in for the team total

Hopefully things are improving in CA? The air was apparently so toxic that I might have tried to date it 😊

October off to a great start with over 1 hour of exercise each day, 3 runs covering 19.7 miles and 2 rides for another 33.2 miles totalling 5 hours 26 minutes plus cool down and warm up walks on top. Eyes on the prize!! 😊 Like the advice @quilteryoyo and I will go for a longer run tomorrow.
