After 4 sub 1 hour 10ks in 18 months before this week today was the 3rd in the last 4 days. I'm not sure what to do with that information other than maybe go farther?

Welcome to our new recruits, you have joined a good group that make solid progress. I live on the South coast of England, joined MFP in 2014 started using MFP in 2019. Started running 18 months ago so I'm quite tired now. Felt like I was running in circle for the last few months! A range of training…

I did skip as I am not great with grizzly details but I feel for you @rheddmobile That was a fantastic run @Scott6255 Change is always a little concerning @kgirlhart though you have to know how well thought of you are by everyone in how they have let this work out. You are going to nail this and not look back 😊 Thank you…

I have been fortunate so far with small niggles like shin splints and the like which have just required patience.

Our Pastor Vincent challenge that @rheddmobile set up was very inspiring so I would like to set up a challenge for this group to "Run the World" in 2021. We have over 30 active members in the group so covering 24,901 miles (the equator of the earth) between us is achievable especially if @AlphaHowls is on board! The…

I was going to have salmon for dinner and then thought about @rheddmobile so chicken it is!

Took a ride on the bike today down to the seafront and back, managed to dodge the rain!

Trout is lovely - rub in some rock salt, pan fry in a bit of milk, nom, nom! Sign up @WandaVaughn and if you know any good virutal challenges where I can get some bling in the UK I'd love to know. Right there with you @kristinajeang - I just ran a race pace 10k, not planned however I started 7 miles from home and the rain…

When I started running the Couch to 5k programme in May '19 I was almost 90 lbs over 'healthy' weight. 4 months later I ran my first 5k in 30 years, another month a 10k, and in month 6 my first ever half-marathon by which time I had shed 50 of those excess lbs. My view is that I can put my joints under strain being…

Fantastic @WandaVaughn Apparently PMs don't always get through if you are not friends so if somebody doesn't get a reply drop me a friend request.

Okay confession time. I have really struggled for a while with motivation, not just weight loss but, for pretty much the first time, generally why be arsed? This makes me normal - everyone has their issues, some are more troubled than others, I am lucky in my environment, my family and my friends. I know many of us are…

Firstly I think it needs to be recognised that these are OUR trails, roads, and pathways and other people are only allowed on them when we agree to it. I have actually said this a little too often and now my daughter now uses the phrase "my road" when she meets someone in the oppposite direction, Oops! Secondly…

Nobody ever worries about me getting attacked by women whilst out on a run. Until I saw the recent posts neither did I 😟

Great running / hiking @rheddmobile, @RunsOnEspresso and @marisap2010 What time do you want us to come round @Faebert - it would be a personal sacrifice for me to have that many calories from your cake however as a friend I feel it is the least I can do 😊 Finally got a run in, 5.5 miles in 53 minutes which is very good…

Great running @polskagirl01 Snuck some carbs in today and suddenly I can run at my old pace. Defo dropping this keto. I won't go full carb as I was before and stick to whole carbs and limit the amount I take on. Still I will go for a huge bag of Co-op crisps (chips to you Americans) next weekend.

@Faebert There is an Asics outlet in Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth where my daughter occassionally needs to go. Some of the gear is on the outlet website https://outlet.asics.com/gb/en-gb/
