Happy birthday @marisap2010 is it today? Nice goals @angmarie28 That looks amazing @katharmonic (the views, not the FUD) though those temperatures would definitely find me sitting by a fire! Hugs on your Dad's birthday @quilteryoyo and I like your maths. I was 7 on the 7th of the 7th, '77 so can I divide all of my mileages…

I like omega seeds or chia seeds on my salad @cre804

Quite excited! Couldn't bring myself to spend £400-£500 for the fenix 6 or forerunner 945 so an unused older model works well for me!

Still looking good from here ChallengeHound We absolutely flew through Portugal leaving the shores of the rather hilly Porto. Now to do some sort of minecraft/fortnite bridge building as we make our was across the North Atlantic towards the Azores. Not a lot to see out here.

We have misfits protein bars (might be UK thing) as a very acceptable replacement for actual chocolate bars.

Needing the loo mid-run is my biggest fear. I always do a loop near to where I live for the first 3/4 mile as it seems to... force the issue!

There are enough voices in my head to keep me company! You are right about young children - I gave up almost everything when we had our second. That's why it has taken me 30 years from deciding I would run a marathon to actually training for one!

The last few miles today were hard! With a capital H, capital A, capital R and capital D... then put it in bold... then make it flash. There was a thought that said if you are going to run 20 miles why not 26. Well erm... heck NO! This was quite enough and I really need to firm up my fuelling as it just isn't working right…

Well I am definitely up for a marathon and in week 4 of the plan. The last few miles today were hard! That is pretty impressive for this month @Beka3695

Being bored at school doesn't tend to work out well - I was branded a trouble maker when we moved and the school system was different, in reality I was just fed up re-learning things I knew. What is a teenager going to do with time on their hands in a classroom?

Cracking playlist!

There was a good BBC programme on the menopause that I watched with my SO. Work is interfering with life and especially running at the moment. It is recovery week and I have a niggle in my left foot so I'll take it this meant to be and keep to the minimum the training plan has. The RtW2021 challenge is making great strides…

Recovery week, rest day, no exercise = shoe porn. Road shoes have arrived. A bit of a bargain at £48 so I bought another pair in black - not so photogenic!
-
We were just talking about this. Some days we feel awesome and it was a great run, others are a grind and we barely make it, yet when we look at the times there seems to very little in it. Weird!

Darn it, I was hoping to stop off at a few vineyards in Bordeaux, home of some of the most expensive wine in the world from the tiny Petrus vineyard (I wasn't going there!) As @eleanorhawkins said we head through Pamplona where they hold the running of the bulls, good luck if you fancy it though I tend to root for the…

Loving the pics @marisap2010 RtW2021 team - we are on target!!! 💪

The RtW2021 team are steaming along towards Paris. We had a guided tour of Amiens where they have yet another Notre Dame (no originality the French 😉) Then skipped passed the old jousting grounds at Rouen, good job they didn't know I was English or I might have ended up on the wrong end of lance! Just a hop and a skip to…

Fantsatic @KelGen02 Loving the commitment @Be_theBest_Me Smashing it as always @bigblues11

I never had road shoes as I started running down the Cuckoo trail when I started. It turns out that is mostly tarmac so I probably shouldn't have. Now each route is half on asphalt and half on compacted dirt or gravel on top of compacted dirt so I think I will stick with trail shoes for those and I keep buying the new…

@Teresa502 has started a thought for me. I only have trail shoes (my current routes are 50% trails). Should I consider road shoes for organised road events?

It would have been a wonderful day for the RtW20201 Challenge through the Sussex and Kent countryside, a little stretch along Camber Sands however Storm Christoph is making it a bit of a slog! Even if you did want to run along the beaches we are in lockdown and might get a fine so low profile everyone. We have left the…
