Thanks for the information guys! I will definitely be checking those out :)

I think if you are trying to gain weight that would definitly be a good idea! If you are very active at work you should make sure to eat back thoe calories as much as possible
-
It depends entirely on the couple. I may not be married (yet) but it happened for me and my boyfriend! When we met we were both very active and healthy but after a little over a year together, he didn't renew his gym membership, I stopped swimming and instead of going for a hike together we would watch a movie together.…

Ingredients to a happy anniversary right there!! (works for Valentine's Day too...at least, that's my plan :blushing: )

Chocolate Covered Pretzels!! or Chips & Dip... Now I want both!!

I'd say go for it! I find when it's that "time of the month" even though I may be tired & sluggish I force myself to get off my butt and do a lite cardio workout everyday rather than my usual average of 4 times a week. For me, it really helps to keep my cramps under control and when logging, it makes up for the bigger…

I'm the same way!!! Been on a gym break because of that lol Like others have said though if you weren't sweating/red in the face you probably weren't working hard enough so give yourself a pat on the back and remember that you are there for you and what others think of you should be none of your concern! I find it helpful…

I'm 6' and my significant other is 6'7"!

I'm 6 feet tall and am by far the tallest of all of my friends and family. I get so happy when I meet other tall women who can sympathize with me and also swap tips for where in our small town to get pants with a 36" inseam and shoes bigger than a size 9. My boyfriend is 6 foot 7, was pretty happy when I finally found him…

You actually brought a tear to my eye! So inspiring Good Luck with your journey, your positive attitude is an inspiration to all of us :)

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation! I've been there myself in the past and it's a tough road to go down. I agree with everyone else so that you need to up your calories, and as others have suggested things like boost or ensure are great ways to start! I hear where you're coming from, feeling restless after not…

It's most likely your body adjusting to your new and improved diet. When I started I had cut out pop, reduced my caffeine and over all cut back my sugar and I had brutal head aches for a few weeks since my body was used to having all of those things. Stick it out, it should get better in time. Try to drink lots of water,…

I was wondering the same thing lately so I've been giving it a try. At first I thought I could quit cold turkey so I went from having minimum 2 large double doubles a day to none at all. It was hell haha. I had migrains for a full week! So that quickly changed and have decided to ween myself off of it. Now I'm down to 1…

Deep water aerobics is by far the best if you're looking for a good solid work out. As some others have said, water aerobics is typically for older people but that doesn't you still can't get a good work out and burn tons of calories, you just may not feel it right away. It's all about what you put into it, most…

It's shallow if all he cared about was my looks. Any person (man or woman) would be lying if they said looks had nothing to do with why they were attracted to the people they are, it becomes shallow when that attraction or preference out-weighs the other qualities of a person such as thier personality.

Really interesting! Thanks for posting :) I personally choose not to log my coffee as adding to my daily water intake as I do enjoy sugar and creame in my coffee which causes the calories to add up as we all know. I find it just an easier to way to keep track and if I can get my 8+ cups of water daily on top of coffee (or…

This thread had me laughing out loud! A) Who gives a rats *kitten* if "all" men like skinny girls? If that was true, I'd be a lesbian! My man loves me for me, not my size (although, he can't deny that he's enjoyed the bigger boobs...), if he was to ever become as shallow as the men some people in this thread seem to hang…

Swimming definitely! You can do lots of things with arms only and still get a great cardio work out. I've been dealing with knee injuries for a few years now and I was told biking would strengthen my knee! Might be worth asking your doctor about.

I've been there before...but usually it was a really really crappy job with horrible bosses so I didn't have too much remorse. Tell them sooner than Saturday if at all possible. Also, apologize for the short notice but that the new job is too good of an oppertunity to pass up. I think offering to work the next two weekends…

I know exactly how you feel!!! After seeing myself in my friends wedding pictures I had the *click* where I knew I wasn't just "bigger" anymore and had a complete meltdown. I probably cried for a good hour straight then got angry and purged my kitchen of all the junk food I had and my closet of all of the clothes that no…

Great job!!! I'm in the same situation and just got approval from my doctor to start running again :)

I'm pumped!! This has been a rough week for me getting work outs in so this is just the motivation I need :)

What a great idea! I love the positive energy :) 1) Meeting the love of my life. A random night at the bar on campus 3 and a half years ago, I was feeling pretty down so a friend set out on a mission to find me someone special. He took me around the room looking for, as he said, "Mr.Right". He tapped this tall guy on the…

I think that is a great idea! It might be a good idea if we could set up a mini-goal for each month from now til April, for example in November we can all aim for doing at least 60mins of cardio 3 times a week, December can be staying within your daily calories (tough around the Holidays). Just a thought, something to keep…

I'm in!!! My graduation from university is at the end of April and I want to look goooooood walking across that stage!! :D

Yummmm now I want apples and caramel haha

Sushi? Depending on what you get, there are some kinds that aren't very healthy and high calories but then others are quite good as long as you go easy on the soya sauce. For my friends bridal shower we made fruit kabob's (kiwi, strawberry & pineapple, yumm) or hummus with crackers or naan bread. Have fun :)

I didn't word that the right way; once you reach a certain point in the weight lose you stop losing as much fat and gain muscle which can make the scale stop going down or start creeping back up. That is the point where you should be looking into the endurance cardio & stretching/yoga to maintain a lean body and keep…
