I'm in the same boat. :) I did so fantastic a few years ago and then I keep falling off the wagon. I was on 4 months of bedrest after a major surgery and was just like, "Well I guess this is my free ticket to just completely quit," and I shouldn't have. I miss feeling good and having energy. It's good to come back. You can…

30 with my first child and 20 with my second. (I was more careful with my eating the second time around)

Ask if there is an actual Chinese food menu. The menus with the fried chicken and noodles are directed toward American tastes. Often when I go to Chinese places I ask politely if they have a Chinese menu available and not Chinese-American food menu. You can end up with steamed shrimp dumplings and Chinese broccoli which…

Totally. Your butt went like straight up after you added lifting, WOW. I'm still 20lbs from my GW, but I just started lifting, so this is really motivating, thanks for sharing. :)

My first questions for you are: What are you eating and are you eating enough? It took me an entire year to lose 50lbs. I know it can be frustrating, but the hardest part is sticking with it.

My thoughts looking at your journal: Aren't you starving by the end of the day? Way too low of calories. In addition to that, swap out stuff like the raisin bread for more protein and fruits and veggies. Taco Bell's whole fourth meal crap. Fourth meal isn't cool, man. It just makes you fat. Stop trying to make it cool.

I've eaten those big original shredded wheat biscuits with skim milk and (sometimes) with a side of fruit most of the week, and usually by 10am I'm starving, but on this breakfast I am held over until lunch. That and it has no sugar and no sodium. Can't beat it!

I used to go to Yard House for happy hour and split nachos with a friend. HALF of the nachos are 980 calories, and so much fat/salt I can't even remember. HALF. Horrible. LOL.

Silk coconut milk (the kind meant to be drank and not the creamy cooking kind in a can) is absolutely delicious. I actually use it in my oatmeal in addition to water when I'm cooking it and it gives my breakfast a good flavor. :D

YUM. Saving for later!

I try to do it a one to two times a week on my non-cardio days. It's really great for stretching/toning muscles, and really loosens up your body. But yeah, not a big calorie burner. I am lucky if I burn 200 cals an hour. I also have a major problem with core and balance still, so it helps with that too. :) Nothing was…

I make room in my day for dark chocolate when I need to. For me, it's better to have a little every once in a while or I will eat a lot when I shouldn't. :) I keep a bar around and have a square when I need something sweet.
