I used to get shin splints when I first started, too. Once my calf muscles got stronger (but even more so the front muscles around the shin), the problem went away. I'm with you...just returning and would love some extra accountability. Feel free to add me. I've used P90X in the past and I would recommend "working up" to it. It's tough but worthwhile. This time around I'm trying some circuit training just to mix things up a bit. Good luck on your journey!
