Can't find my original post but started March 1st at 238. March 5th - 234.2

I'm in the UK as well but much heavier than all of you! I started out at 18 stone 12.6 at the beginning of January (exactly what I weighed the day I had my twins 18 months before). *it keeps cutting off my post here and I don't know why??? Today I weighed in at 16 stone 10.6 and am aiming for just under 12 stone and a…

I started at 265 and am now 236. Nobody's noticed. My clothes are looser and my face looks thinner to me. I'm expecting people to start noticing after about another 20lbs or so I reckon!

Name: JJ Age: 34 Height: 5'8" Start Weight (March 1): 238 Goal Weight (April 1): 223.9 Struggles this week: I've been bumping up and down the same couple of pounds for a while as my kids and I have had a horrendous flu and long term cough for over a month. We're finally getting better and I'm determined to get back on…

I have a free meal on a Saturday night. I actively try to eat at least 2000-2500 calories in total on a Saturday, with the majority of that coming from my evening meal. For me it's massively psychologically helpful and makes eating within my calorie limit the rest of the time totally doable. I usually put on 0.5-1.5lbs on…

I weigh every morning and log it in Happyscale. I only log losses on MFP.

I'm currently 238 and aiming for 165. I have a large frame and build muscle really easily and look good at that weight. The lowest I've weighed as an adult is 143 and I was a solid size 8 (UK) then (4 US) and was starting to get 'you look really skinny' comments! Oh and I'm 5'8" pretty much exactly.

Not eating foods I love at all (cheese for example). Just leads to discontent and binging. Exercise only. I exercised hard for years and couldn't understand why, even though I was pretty damn fit (running regular 10ks) I didn't seem to be able to lose weight. I was eating it all back- doh!
-
I love milk too! Whilst pregnant with my twins I was getting through about 4/5 pints a day
-
Thanks! They're 20 months but my local leisure centre won't let one person take two toddlers swimming (which is fair enough really) and I don't have any other childcare until they start nursery in September so it's going to require some lateral thinking!

Your weight loss sounds awesome is what it sounds! FWIW I have a tiled bathroom floor so I put the scales in the exact same spot every day in order to minimise fluctuations!

Could be your gall bladder...is it more noticeable when you eat fatty foods?
-
So I weighed in at 238.6 this morning so a total of 14.4lbs gone since Jan 19th. I was hoping to be under 238 but I'll take it anyway! Well done to everybody else, keep up the good work!
-
If you still have plenty of fat to lose then I'd suggest you start by cutting back your calories a little. Obviously, you could choose to exercise more instead (my personal preference) or aim for closer to 1800 cals a day. Unfortunately the closer you get to your goal the tighter the margins become and the more careful you…

So I weighed in at 239.4 yesterday and am hoping for another pound or two but was unable to weigh in this morning due to kids etc! Will update tomorrow if I've lost any more!
-
Thank you- I didn't spot that, will look again!
-
Yeah, I wondered about doing that actually but wasn't sure how accurate it would be. Will give it a go! Should have worn my Garmin HR monitor but forgot stupidly!
-
I weigh daily and log it on Happyscale. I take my weight as the weight for that day usually. I only log losses on MFP but all gains and losses on Happyscale so I can keep a record.

I don't get particularly tired but I do find that I have about a week a month when I'm totally ravenous and could eat a horse! For that week I just try and up my exercise so I can eat 100/200 calories more whilst remaining at a decent defecit. Perhaps you could do the opposite and simply eat a bit less for those few days…

That's awesome! At my lightest and fittest I managed a 24:45 once and was super happy with that! Now I'm much fatter and older and have a chronic illness I can only manage around 35 minutes but I'm still proud of that too. Awesome work- keep it up!

Certain medications can either drastically increase your appetite and/or cause you to retain water. I've been on steroids long term so I've had the first battle plenty! I have managed to lose 24lbs so far but the willpower involved can be superhuman at times! Check out water retention as a potential side effect and maybe…

I have to eat breakfast due to some medication I'm on but otherwise wouldn't. I actually find it often makes me feel a little queasy if I eat too soon after getting up although I don't know why?! As long as it doesn't make you snack more later then go for it (or don't I guess would be more appropriate!)

Why not let us see the side by side pictures so we can see if there's a difference you're blind to?

Thanks! Definitely legit sick I promise- I've been sounding like a 60-a-day smoker for the past three days and I don't even smoke! Have eaten an extra bit of toast and might have some raisins etc just to make myself feel a bit better and get some extra reasonably healthy calories in me! I was always planning a Valentine's…

I'm another one that eats the majority of my calories after 6pm. I have two young kids and let them have digestive biscuits or homemade flapjacks etc but wouldn't keep chocolate around for them. I have more calories to play with (I'm much bigger and taller than you) but generally eat 1500-1600 a day. I eat around 200 for…

You look great! Fantastic results! I'm a twin mum as well so I know the difficulties of sorting out the middle region after carrying twins- hopefully I'll be doing that later this year when I get rid of some of weight! Good luck for the last 15!

You are meant to eat them back but, like a lot of people, I eat a small percentage of mine back rather than all. This is largely because I think my calorie burns are probably being heftily overestimated by MFP and also because I don't want to stuff myself with food to make up the calorie burn when I'm full enough having…

I'm 5'8" and can wear a comfortable size 16 at around 16 stone (224) without too many problems. That would give you a 74lb weight loss in 5 months so probably not. I started at 264.6 on Jan 4th and have now lost 23.4lbs already, I think big girls do tend to drop a fair amount of weight quite quickly at the beginning. I'm…
