So, I have been on spring break all week home with my kids and unable to go to the gym. Crap! Also been eating and drinking in excess!! I'm hoping to get my act together after the holiday. Grrrr. I need my bada$$ back!

Today: 3x8 95lb and 2x5 115lb squats...realized I could be using one 35lb plate instead of the 25 & 10! Duh! 95 lb deads 3x5 70 lb rows 3x8 Also ran a 9 min warm up mile which is a pr for me!

So I weighed in this morning! Lost 13.4 since January! Body fat % was lower than I thought though...only a loss of 3%. I'm not convinced that's accurate, but it should be consistent anyway, since it was the same scale as last time. I'll find out tonight if I win my hundred bucks! No gym tonight , but I'll go tomorrow. Need…

So I weigh in tomorrow with the weight loss and body fat challenge I joined in Feb. I can't wait to see my numbers....even though I'm a little scared! I didn't get to the gym last night and I can't go today...but that might work in my favor since my weight tends to be higher after lift days.

Hi everyone! Still breaking rules here, and doing all the lifts in one day. I just feel better about the workout when I get them all in. Is that wrong?? Yep, I run! I'm training for a 10 mile at the end of May. I run 2-3 days a week for 3+ miles on my non-lifting days. So far, so good!

115 on the squat today! That's my highest yet. And I braved the real live bench press. I survived.

Man, I gotta talk to this trainer LOL and get a name for this thing he had me doing. I guess it must be more of a squat, since my back is straight. I guess what made me (a noob) think that it might be a deadlift sort of thing was that the bar is on the ground initially, and i pull it up as i straighten my legs.

@vegas...i'm laughing so hard right now I made myself do my 3.5 miles today even though I really would have rather lifted. I wish I could just lift every day!! I'm hating running more and more and can't wait til the race is over and I can give it up!

Hmm...toes pointing very much out, not just a little. Not heels touching. I'm probably describing it wrong LOL,. And, we should definitely investigate the possibility of deadlifts in a pile. HA!

Nope. I have a fitbit but I only got into it for a while. You can give it a whirl if you want to!.! Let me know. It was fun, but only went so far to motivate me, really.

I had one pilates teacher that describes it like a zipping up feeling from your lower core (the kegel) up through. It's a pretty stabilizing feeling, but I haven't actually given it a conscious thought during my lifts. Maybe I should!

Yeah, I didn't increase my weight on the squats after the run....just my normal 95 5x5. Could have totally taken them out LOL...he was an upper body junkie with chicken legs and his kid was lifting less than me. ;)

I do 30lb dumbbell side bends, and some pilates ab moves to work the abs a bit more. I don't want to do tooooo much though before i shred the fat.

wahooooo my OHP didn't suck today! still only 45lbs, but I managed 55554 and only didn't try that last one bc i felt like this guy and his kid were staring at me LOL also, squats after a 3 mile run are rough. but i feel like a BA after, so that's cool. ; ) hope everyone had a great Sunday!

I loved mine, and lost a lot of weight while on it. After 3.5 years it started to make me crazy. I had it pulled out and got myself some Xanax. But I wish I could have kept it, was loving not having a period for almost 5 years (counting the time I was preggo).

I'm on the couch, watching Beauty and the Beast with the kiddies. They ate, but I have no clue what I want to eat for dinner!!
