I love most teas, but my current favorites: Stash: Earl Grey Bigelow: Green Tea with Wild Blueberry and Acai And I am absolutely IN LOVE with Bigelow: Spiced Chai right now. Perfect fall tea in my opinion :o)

Thank you to my TOTALLY awesome and ROCKSTAR pal! Encouragement from people like you is what helps keep me going day in and day out... even when I get whiney ;) !! ha ha ha Really, you are the best and thanks for the support!!

I try to stay around 1200 and eat back some of my exercise calories, and most days I'm pretty good, weekends are my nemesis... but I usually just make up for the weekend by running more and really being careful during the week and so far it's working. Not my recommendation though if you can have better self control on the…

Thanks Denise, having my health is my main reason, it's also why I quit smoking in March of this year. But I won't lie, I'm definitely doing it because I want to look better too, :o)

This comparison really helps me see how far I've come. Christmas Eve 2007... and last week. Almost 6 years older, but I don't think it looks it.

Thanks! I've learned positivity is a choice and though yes, sometimes life really sucks... I choose to stay positive because I'd rather be happy :o)

Congrats! It really is an awesome feeling. I started running in May of this year and now I'm totally hooked. I run 5k 3 times a week now working on improving time etc... but will be running my first actual 5k race this coming Saturday. Once I've got that under my belt... 10k it is!

There's not time frame for healing and that's A LOT you went through!!! I can't even imaging. I'm glad I could inspire you today though. :o) Be kind to yourself and best of luck to you!!

hee hee thanks QT. I think they're pretty great myself... but I'm biased ;o)

Thanks Rachel and I agree... that is way too young. I'm sorry that you went through the same thing. It's not easy, but you're right that it does motivate those left behind to be as healthy as we can. Best of luck to you and your family as well and congrats on the weight loss!!

Thanks! I finished the C25k 9 week program and am working on increasing my pace now before I move onto the 10k! :o) Good luck to you!

a male co-worker who was actually trying to make me feel better when I was still on the single scene: "Looks aren't everything and you're a really great person!" ....................... :ohwell:

I eat bread nearly every day. I would not be able to maintain this change without it... that and my peanut butter lol and I've been steadily losing all along. I typically eat Sarah Lee low cal multi grain bread (45 calories per slice), but that's because I like it and it's easier to fit into my daily calorie budget. If…

Absolutely! Love the Grilled Sweet Chili Chicken wrap and it's really filling for only 360 calories!

Congrats! That is an awesome win. You'll keep surprising yourself every week with what you can do and especially with your determined mentality... you've got this!

Turbulence - Steve Aoki & Laidback Luke feat. Lil Jon (the beat is so intense it helps me push through a tough run and step up the pace. Though I might blow my eardrums one of these times if I keep turning it all the way up when this song comes on :o) ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S0N2ZRTsJE

I used to drink a TON of coffee throughout the day with milk or cream, but I've found the longer I'm on this journey, the less I drink (and the less I want which is weird) I'm down to a cup in the morning with a 1/4 cup of 1% milk, no sugar and every once in a while I'll have a cup after dinner. Sorry forgot to add that I…

Thanks! Stick with it. I never thought I'd be able to run a mile...never mind several! :)

Hand you a Huge glass of sugar water and run the hell in the other direction ;)

Alright, figured an update was totally due because.... I DID IT!!!! I just completed c25k week 9 day 3 today and guess who ran a full 5k?! OMG I can't believe I'm able to say that, but I made it. Took one week off in mid June due to blowing out my back, but started right back as soon as I could and just finished the…

That's what I was thinking... but then got scared LOL guess the mind still has to catch up a little!! I am definitely going to do it though. Figure what better way to buid up my speed for a 5k than to build up enough edurance for a 10k ;)

Ok, need to share. So, I ran 2.01 miles straight this am!!! 25 minutes... but whatever, speed will come with time, I'm so amazed by the distance! Is it wrong that I might be in love with the C25k lady?? LOL If she were real, I would have kissed her this morning when she announced I was done and had run 2.01 miles!!! I…
