That is absolutely fantastic. I'm going to remember that next time I'm "hungry" for chocolate!

I'm having trouble too! It's so hard to stay motivated when it's dark and cold and there are holiday treats everywhere! Sending you a friend request...

Can I use M&Ms? ;) hmmm, probably a bad idea...

I think I'm going to start Dec 10! Feel free to add me!

Oh! Oh! Me! Me! Over here! I turn 40 in January 2014 and would love to be near goal (140 by 40, which is another 30lbs away) and accomplished some fitness goals.
-
Anyone can add me too! I'm a SAHM of 2 year old twin boys (i.e. Mayhem and Destruction), and REALLY need a kick in the pants right now to get off my butt and work out, and eat cleaner! ETA: wait, I meant eat more cleanly, not sucking back Drano or something!

bump to re-read later and later and later

Anyone can add me too! I'm another 5'2"er! I recently started IF to try to shake things up a bit. I'm hoping to get to 160 by my birthday in January, but I gotta stay committed! My goal is 140 by 40 right now, which means 30lbs in the next year and a bit.

I'm in! I need a challenge to help me steer through the obstacle course of December! I'd prefer not to have a weight goal, though. Right now I've just started 16:8 IF. My goal is to keep that up, get back into working out regularly, and reduce my junk intake! Hopefully that will lead to some loss. :)

In Canada, all doctors recommend 1500mg of sodium/day max. Try to stay away from bottled sauces, ketchup, BBQ sauce, etc., fast/processed food. And drink lots of water!

Our stats are almost identical, except my boys turned 2 today! I'm back at ppw now, but that's at least 25-30lbs more than I should be! My motivation these days sucks, so if anyone is looking for more friends, feel free to add me!

bump for inspiration!

I also want to thank everyone who is posting for their inspiration and perspiration! I've had a bad couple of weeks, and am struggling to get back on the wagon again. It's good to be reminded that it can be done. Anyone can feel free to add me! My twin boys will be TWO (!!!) in a couple of weeks. I'm back at pre-pregnancy…

Those are some great results, and I'm super impressed at how many events you've competed in! MFP changes lives, doesn't it? I know it might not seem like much, or seem like a slow loss compared to others, but you're closer to your ideal weight so it takes a little more work. And the yo-yoing, of course. I've done it. I…

So inspirational! It's stories like yours that remind me I can do this! Congrats on all your success.

For me, this is getting to the hard part of the year. Darker days, cold, tons of chocolate and comfort food around... I have a great home gym, and I still try to get to the "real" gym a few times a week as well, but I can feel my motivation start to wane. If anyone is looking for a workout partner in Riverbend, let me know!

bump for reference!

I wear gloves, because it helps with my grip and I tend to get sweaty hands (there's no chalk in my gym). I probably look like a complete tool because the only gloves I could find in my size are PINK (gah!), but who cares? I'm not putting plates on the bar to impress other people.

I'm in! Starting at 170, would love to get to 150 by Xmas (but realistically 155-160). I've been in a bit of a rut for the past few weeks, so I need a reason to get back on the wagon!
-
Have you tried anything at www.junonia.com?
-
Thanks! I guess I didn't look at it that way...

I'm 5'2 and officially started MFP with a post-pregnancy weight of 193. I'm down to my pre-pregnancy weight now at 170, but I want to lose at least another 40! Feel free to friend me!

I love my Fitbit and chose it over the BMF for a few reasons: 1. It's tiny! I can tuck in in my bra, waistband, and nobody can see it. <-- this means that I actually WEAR IT, which I wouldn't with an armband. 2. No ongoing subscription. 3. The galvanic measurements with BMF wouldn't help me as much, because I sweat more…

Wow, you've got a gorgeous figure. I wish I looked that good from behind!

1. About a year. 2. Around $100,000. 3. 400 invited, 450-500 showed. 4. Little bags of Hershey's Kisses. 5. June. 6. It was five days long, but the official marriage part was on a Sunday. 7. Does it matter? It's done! 8. Splurge? You're kidding, right? See #2. 9. Multicolored. 10. Not that I can think of.

Lifting really heavy stuff has made the biggest difference to my body!
-
Good on you! You've worked so hard and so consistently, you should be proud and chuffed!

I'm 5'2.5" and working my way back (and beyond) from postpartum twin weight of 193. I got back to pre-pregnancy weight of 170 twice in the last year (grrrr), and am determined to get down to 125 by next summer. The last time I was 125 as an adult I was anorexic, and people said I looked really bad. So we'll see how it…

bump for inspiration later!

I'd love to hear the answer to this. I have de Quervain's syndrome from carrying my toddler twins, and it's making lifting very difficult these days!
