  • Seriously, this all comes back to you. I'm not trying to be harsh because I know exactly what you mean and are going through. I have a very good friend who I eat out with once a week. She is constantly talking about the need to lose weight but she constantly makes bad choices. I began this journey about three months ago…
  • I happened upon Dannon's new dessert yogurt items marketed under "The Creamery" last week. The Lemon Cheesecake is to die for and the Dark Chocolate pudding is veeerrrryyy chocolate. ETA: I believe they are around 160-180 cals.
  • Is all that 10-15 lbs the edible fruit of the melon or the whole melon, rind and all. Obviously you are not eating the rind so you probably should go with weighing the actual fruit you cut to eat to get a more true count of calories.
  • My apologies.. I missed the salad at dinner. Although, I still stand by my original assessment of more veggies.
  • Not one vegetable the entire day? Why? So good for you, loads of nutrients, low in calorie, extremely filling, and the variety cannot be beat. I can get if you don't like broccoli, asparagus etc. but there has got to be some veggies you like.
  • I do this also... although with the summer fruits the honey is really not necessary. You can also put a dash of vanilla in it if you want to. I love Fage and Oikos. Noosa is amazing!! But their small containers are typically two servings and they have become incredibly sweet too me. But the yogurt .. amazing!
  • seconding the water thing... it will make you feel much better quicker.
  • I didn't read through everything so if this has been answered, my apologies. There are water weights you can get that are very helpful in the pool. My local workout place has them and I use frequently. Not sure of cost but you might check it out.
  • I've been using Bolthouse Farms Ranch Dressing... has a yogurt base and is very good. 2 tbsp = 45 cals.
  • Roasted broccoli.. one of the best ways to have this veggie. Very delicious!
