Also... I would like to bring attention to OP's ticker. She only has 6 kg to lose. That's like 12 to 15 lbs!! I mean, she can't possibly be so overweight that her family's treatment of her would be acceptable (not that it should be if she were overweight). Why so many harsh tones? Why so much lack of "sugar-coating" when…

She kept her cool all the way up until they took her money, told her she was too fat to eat ribs, used her money to buy themselves drinks, and then ate burgers in front of her while all she had was a side salad. I think the sister just kicked off what ultimately turned into a bad evening. Honestly, no one has anything to…

I could definitely see why you would be hangry. If you gave them money and they brought you something other than what you ordered, I would politely ask for your money back. You don't have much to lose. I can't imagine why your family would treat you in such a way by stating that you can't have food "because it will make…

Now that I've been all helpful, I just have to say that reading this thread really made me want some chocolate. Don't worry, OP. I ain't mad at ya!

As a Georgia woman and "secretary," this one amused me.

You are completely justified in omitting a food item from your diet for whatever reason you choose. Don't apologize for not wanting chocolate and not wanting to be around chocolate. This would be different if you demanded that no one in the office eat chocolate around you. Your desk is your personal space, and by law, is…

No you are not a horrible person. I'm inclined to believe it was him and that he is lying about it. Don't beat yourself up. You were respectful up until you were disrespected.

It's really okay to love someone with a mental health issue. Just realize what that means for you. Decide for yourself if both Mikes put together (happy and depressed) is someone you can spend your life with. Can you accept him for who he is? Can you support him when he needs you? If he is in treatment and on medication,…

That's a pretty cool gif!! :flowerforyou:

Yeah, my kids made certain I saw that one.

Since this thread is three years old, I'm really hoping OP has grown them back by now.

That one tickled a bit. But I bet someone out there has something better.

That one made me smile!

That one got a snicker. Come on, folks! Keep trying.

I know. He really just set me up beautifully, didn't he?

That joke STINKS! Oh wait... maybe that's you.

The best part of this thread is that the majority of the replies in it is actually coming from MFP'ers that hate the "date, bang, marry" threads and avoid them with open and public disdain. Amirite?

Where... exactly... do you want him to put his head?

But it looks so yummy!

That's kind of neat. I didn't know they shedded. LOL!

I see definite potential for derailment here. Just passing through...

You need to try and increase your protein. 100 g isn't really enough for a young man eating 2000 calories. Your macro ratios should be set to at least 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat. You should feel more satiated at 2000 calories with the right macro ratio.

You know... I really really want to make an awfully crude joke about yeast here, but... I shall refrain.
