still abstaining from the scale. Trying to focus on exercising and keeping within my calories. Have an injury to my ankle and I am no having to modify my workouts. Only made it through 2 weeks of Insanity, but I guess being able to walk is a little more important. Still very motivated to lose this last 25 pounds, but it is…

Have fun, but avoid the scale for a few days. All that sodium will hold a ton of water. Eat Up!

I have a Timex HRM that I got on Amazon for about $40. It got great reviews and I also love it. I have had it almost a year and I still love it.

Bump, they sound delish!

As for calorie burn everyone is different. That being said...I am 5'7 and weigh 158pounds. My average calorie burn for the first 2 weeks is roughly around 600 calories (except for recovery day) My husband is about 280 pounds and his calorie burn is roughly 1000-1100 calories according to the HRM

I have decided to not weight myself for the entire month of February. I was getting very frustrated with not seeing any weight coming off. I am in the second week of Insanity and decided I would hold off on weighing and measuring for the whole month. I am still in this challenge and will continue to follow and post, just…

Time to get that 2 year old off my back!

My ankles are so sore that they hurt to touch. I am loving this workout but am a little worried about this. I have lost some flexibility in my ankles also. I notice this when walking down the stairs. They are a little swollen and very tender. Anyone else having problems? The rest of my body feels great and so much stronger…

Just starting week 2 today. My knees and ankles are very sore and tender, so I will make ice my new best friend. Weight is holding steady, but I feel great. I have decided to hide the scale until March 1st which will be recovery week for me.

Recovery day today. It felt great, but I feel like I need to do something else just to get my calorie burn in. Thinking about a nice walk on the treadmill tonight

I started Insantiy on Thursday with the fit test. My goodness I thought that was hard. I thought I may toss my "cookies" after plyo last night, but made it through. Just finished day 3 and it is by far the hardest I have ever worked out, and I can only do about have the moves. Can't wait to see results. Good luck all

Bumping for later. Thanks girls for the info

Did the fit test today and WOW am I out of shape. I didn't think I was that bad off. Well no where to go but up from here. Can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring. Scared and excited to get this rolling

Still not seeing the results I am looking for. So frustrated!!!

Going to be starting this weekend (1/29). I am scared as H**L, but I really need something to jump start my weight loss. I have been watching and exercising all month with only a 2 pound loss. I am beyond frustrated and I really hope that I can do this. I am not in horrible shape but not good shape either and I have about…

I am on day 7 of the Shred. Stick with it and the soreness will go away. I think I was sore for about 3 days. It was mostly my legs too. Had a lot of trouble just sitting down. Actually doing the workout that 2nd day didn't really bother me. By day 7 I feel great minus a sore butt. ( I did great on my lunges last night…

Instead of making it about losing weight, I would try to make it about making healthy choices and exercise. Just jumping rope and playing outside are great calorie burners. Try to promote a healthy body image no matter what, everyone is different and beautiful.

Weighed in at 159.8. (not sure what I weighed in at last week) A little frustrated since I have watched and logged everything and worked out everyday this week. I know that all this weight lifting and cardio has to be doing something, and I hope the scale will catch up at some point

Feel free to add me too. I have been here about a year and lost about 20 pounds, then got comfortable at that weight. I maintained for a while and am now ready to try and lose the last 20 pounds.

Checking in, sorry it is a day late. With MLK day yesterday I wasn't online at all. CW: 160.2 for a loss of 1.8 (I think) Lacking motivation to exercise. It is so hard this time of year with the dark, cold and snow. Going to try my hardest to get back on track this week.

I have one made by Timex. It came with a chest strap and has a replaceable battery unlike the polar's that you have to send in for replacement. It was rated very well through consumer reports. I got if on amazon for around $50. It works great and it totally motivates you to keep moving

I just found your group. I would love to join!!! I need some serious motivation. Height: 5'7" SW: 162 GW: 140 (yep, 22lbs) Please add me as a friend if you like

I am with you. I went back to work last may and have gained 15lbs. I was very happy with my weight and now I am so mad with myself, but I can't seem to break the cycle. I am tired and just want to go to bed when I put the kids to bed. I really need to force myself to get out and exercise more. Good luck!

A warm welcome to you also from Ohio (Northern). Congrats on the huge accomplishment so far.

Would love to join this challenge. I just really started back up with this whole thing. I got comfortable with my weight for a while and needed that. I was on maintenance all summer and am just starting back. Last Monday (10/19) I weighed in at 159.6. This past Sunday (10/24) I weighed in at 154.6 (-5)! SW: 159.6 CW: 154.6…
