I use a protein shake- usually vanilla flavored and mix it in with my oatmeal and/or plain Greek Yogurt. It really boosts my protein intake. I also eat almonds/pumpkin seeds (as a snack or on a salad) and lots of chicken/tuna/salmon.

I just sent this in, but thought I'd post it here too- I lost 1.2 lbs this last week- and with all the gin and (diet) tonics I had yesterday, I'll take it!!!!! AND I'm down to 199- SWEEEET. I plan on never seeing myself in the 200s again!!

I try to stay away from processed foods (for the most part) so the majority of my sugar intake is from fruit. When I'm over in my sugars it is usually because of the fruit I'm eating- so I don't freak out. I would just watch and make sure you are sticking to healthy sugars.

I appreciate a great set of abs, but- it's not a necessity- far from it. I think that was the last thing I thought about when I fell into liking with my hubby. I thought even less about it when I fell in love with him. I think an emotional connection is much more relevant and lasting than any physical attachment.

I usually eat oatmeal or have a protein shake after I'm done working out- but it just depends. Some times I'm just not hungry or the opposite and I'm starving after a workout. My trainer says to have some sort of protein within a half hour to an hour after my workout. So that's what I try to aim at..protein intake.

I'm 5'2 and currently weighing in at 202 lbs, I've already lost 19 lbs being on here since the beginning of May. I have never been a tiny person, so although I have hopes of being around 120, I think I will know when I'm done and at a good place for my body to be. Definitely planning to be between 120-140. Time will tell!

1 lb loss this past week- now at 207. My goals this week are to re-evaluate my eating completely. I thought I was doing pretty good, but the last few weeks have been really tough. No more eating anything that comes in a package, box, or can!!!!!

ugh- no change for the week. I blame my dad ;) They had us over for dinner last night. I didn't go over my calories. but I definitely ate things I shouldn't have.....mmmmm...butter.

I JUST purchased the dvd and plan on starting tonight!! I'm really excited. I watched some of it yesterday, just to get a feel for the workout. It looks tough, but not impossible. I'm pumped to get started- I'll be doing the workouts everyday before bedtime.

My goals this week: Drink more water!!!!! Double up on my work outs- starting the 30 day shred tonight. Watch my carbs closer AND cut down on the red meat. Hit the farmers market tonight to get fresh organic veggies. Good times!!!!!!!
