  • If you've started increasing your sugar or carb intake then your cravings will come back. Get back to the basics of keto and you should be fine
  • Beachbody on Demand is great. Huge variety of workouts and only $99 for the whole year
  • I just started this week. Today is my rest day, so I'll do some running today. I'm not sore like I thought I would be. Probably need to up my weights, but I was definitely burned out by the end of the three sets so I don't know that I can do much heavier... We'll see!

  • Butternut and Apple Mash Cubed butternut squash, a couple peeled and sliced apples, and about 1/2 cup of liquid (water, apple juice or cider). Simmer on the stove with some cinnamon and nutmeg (or pumpkin pie spice) till you can mash it all up. Makes a nice sweet side dish.

  • So your daily average for last week was 1120 net cals per day
  • I have the Danskin 2.5lb hoop and I love it! (My cousin has a 5 pounder and I did get bruises from it!) I don't do anything fancy, just hoop while watching TV or in a boring meeting at work. I was just looking the other day about hooping classes and found one about a mile from my house! I just may start up, I'd love to do…
  • Raw dipped in ranch. Or steamed (but not mushy!) with salt and a little butter spray. I don't like mashed cauliflower as a total sub for mashed potatoes, but I do like a 50/50 blend.
  • I agree with this - exercising 5 times a week is not sedentary
  • I find the Treadmill and Elliptical SO BORING! I can't motivate myself to do them like I can when I take a fun class. Maybe try a group class, like BodyPump. Something that is fun and you enjoy makes it so much easier to stick with.
  • Today was brown rice mixed with almond milk, banana, honey and cinnamon. Like oatmeal but better :) Followed with a hard boiled egg for morning snack.
  • Mine is at 5:45. It's so early, especially in the cold winter! But it's the only class that works for me, since there's no childcare at any of the later ones. So I have to go before the kiddos wake up! It's awful early though. Many nights I sleep in my workout clothes so I have no excuse to hit the snooze button! LOL
  • I just bought some Nike cross trainers that are very soft and comfy. Time will tell if they have enough support, though. Only worn them twice so far.

  • Salmon is my go-to when I'm out to eat. Have to watch the sauces, butter, etc but it's usually a relatively-safe bet.
  • I drink one a day with lunch. The rest of the day is water (other than my morning coffee) so I feel comfortable with one per day.
  • I am a Jazzercise convert! I still love Zumba, but the Jazzercise routines are easier to learn (not easier to do, just easier to learn since they all repeat themselves!) And I like the strength training at each class, and the Body Sculpt classes for extra strength. I need something that makes me want to get up at 5:30am…
  • I've been going for a month :) I got a 20-class Groupon and fell in love! I just signed up for a year committment! I hate getting up at 5:30am to exercise, so if I'm going to do it, it better be fun! :) Good luck!
  • me too! I loved that one! I still dance it in my head when it comes on the radio :)
  • Skinny vanilla latte, or a Cafe Misto and add my own splenda

  • I use a Flat-Out, top with sauce and cheese and veggies, and toast in the toaster oven. Mmmmm.....
  • Yoga pants (capri length, usually) and a semi-fitted t-shirt with a sports bra underneath. I like the pants and tees/tanks from Target. Inexpensive but comfy. I think the brand is Pro-Spirit, or something? I also have some from Tek-Gear from Kohls.
  • Can of diced tomatoes, can of chickpeas (drained), diced onion, peppers, celery. Saute them all together with some spices - I like rosemary, a bit of red pepper flakes and cinnamon. Serve over brown rice. The combo of tomatoes and chickpeas is delish.
  • You were a size 4/6 when you weighed 172?? I'm currenlty 170 and I'm having a tough time fitting into my size 12's! Even when I'm 160, I'm still a size 10/12
  • I'm 5'11" and my ideal goal is 160, although 165 is good and easy to maintain for me. I have to work harder to stay at 160. My smallest ever was 155 before my wedding. That lasted for about a week! :)
  • In addition to just tracking calories, look at what you're eating and try to get the minimum - 2-3 dairy servings 5-7 fruits or veggie 2 protein 1-2 whole grains Add some snacks in there, as long as they are healthy snacks that allow you to "check off" one of the items above.
  • This sounds great, and even the kids would eat it! I do "Wacky Wednesday" dinners and will make Breakfast for Dinner or "Ice Cream sundaes" with yogurt and fruit, or something like that. So they will get a kick out of Cupcakes for dinner! Thanks!
  • I make this all the time, and usually leave out the taco seasoning, cuts down on sodium and I really don't miss it. Try different variations of salsa! I made with peach salsa last night and it was great!
  • Candy. Especially this time of year - Jelly Beans. I will eat myself sick on some jelly beans...
  • Chobani Fat Free Vanilla is my favorite. Mix with some blueberries or strawberries - delish! I use the plain as a sub for sour cream, or in smoothies if I add some sweetener. I like the taste of Dannon, but they add too many ingredients to thicken it up (Gelatin) so to me, it's not "true" greek yogurt. If you shop at Aldi,…
  • You might need a little bit of water - 1/4 cup or so - if it seems too thick. But it's delicious! Spice cake is good w/pumpkin, too.
