  • Won't have time to match what I did in July (950-ish miles) due to being back to work but I'd like to get a good 600 miles done of my usually pretty hilly routes. Bit of mountain biking thrown in too :)

  • It's certainly more accurate than without it but in the end it's always just an estimate. I'm a cyclist and the HR monitor gives a good indication of actual work done because without it, the calculations (on the fitness tracking stuff I use) would simply base it off weight (rider + bike) and the speed at which I'm riding.…
  • Big problem for me is on the odd rest day I have (of which I've only had 2 this month) - I get so bored that I end up eating way too much.
  • I'm trying to stay around 1250 for a few weeks to drop a few lbs but I burn between 800-2000 calories through exercise each day (cyclist) so I can pretty much still eat what ever I want. Doing a bit of exercise to allow yourself to eat a bit more can be helpful.
