I have "Pizza Wednesday", used to eat a large one all in one go but now I take half to work on Thursday and have double the treat!. Hell would freeze over before I stop pizza Wednesday..

As people have said, it's not necessarily the drinking it's the eating afterwards that goes towards the "beer belly". Massive pepperoni pizza or fatty kebabs with all the trimmings!.

I weighed everyday while losing, then weekly on maintainance. A few months ago I went over to using my work belt as a guide, I knew I'd put a smidge back on so checked on the scales and was 1 kilo over my goal weight (so not to bad over 3 months!). Daily weighing actually motivated me when loosing, interestingly my lowest…

Onion, chopped tomatoes, diced red pepper, sliced red chilli, chicken tika pieces, chopped chipotles, cap full of hot chilli powder and a few forkfulls of pickled red cabbage for me tomorrow. I like a freshly toasted pita bread to go with it too!. Never was a fan of salads but realised it was the lettuce that put me off.

Spirit with diet mixer in a long glass is your best bet.

I lost over 2 stone using portion control and eating what I did before (just less of it). Sometimes I can split evening meal in half and take the rest for lunch at work etc. Have salads sometimes but they're full of chillies, chipotles, curry powder so taste a lot better!. Never written a thing down, just try and tot up an…

I've done 150 miles a month, rain/ shine/ snow for the last 6+ years riding to work and back. Seems car drivers have got progressively worse, need to have eyes on stalks now!. Nice in summer, not so nice in winter...

Base Metabolic Rate, how many calories you burn just to stay alive basically!.
-
I used to factor in a pint of Guinness or two every night when losing (2lb per week). No harm in it if you don't go mad imho..
-
Drink a pint of water before you eat, or a banana/ apple half an hout before.
-
Keep at it, use a 2 week or monthly average to see the true trend.
-
I try and plan it so my hangovers are at work, less chance to eat rubbish/ snack all day. But a day off the wagon now and again won't do any harm..
-
Amazing work and great to see your surgery went ok!.
-
I'll have some fruit around 11.30am then lunch at 1pm. If I eat early in the morning it sets me up for being hungry all day which isn't a good thing!. Found on the days I ate before setting off for work it slowed me down on the bike (3 mile cycle)..

You transition from one to the other, maintainance isn't a massive jump calorie wise from when you were on a "diet".
-
I can't watch it, boils my blood seeing where me and the wife's hard earned tax goes..
-
Best are boiled egg sandwiches, sat in a sealed container all morning then unleashed at dinner time!.

Consistently losing a pound a week is a good goal to have without going to extreems, plus it's not far off what you'll be eating at the end when you reach goal weight. I lost 2 stone in 6 months and wouldn't want to go harder at it than that. As people have said crash diets normally lead to weight gain afterwards!.

Excellent work there!, you should be proud of what you've achieved.

I've had a week off and enjoyed every minute of it!.

Bubble and squeak for me!. Cut all the sprouts/ roasties etc and warm it up in a frying pan with a little cooking oil (I cook it till its crispy). Add in some chillie seeds and some hot curry powder, jobs a good un..

I have some salted pistachios around 9pm, 300kcals worth. The fact it takes a while to shell/ eat them makes it appear to be a bigger snack!.

If you haven't watched Breaking Bad from start to finish you haven't lived!.

I can exert my self enough to feel sick when cycling (really going for it!), but I've never physical been sick (decided a couple of times just to keep going and see what happens!). There was a program about Chris Hoy a while back and he used to train to the point of puking every day pushing to the limit.

If people decide to cheat even after gastric bands I don't think there is any pill that will cure everybody!.

Read these boards daily and you'll find a multitude of reasons for overeating, if they have the "woe is me" attitude they will not change their eating habits for more than a week or two. There's always something to blame for being overweight.
-
Great transformation there!. I've ended up at 76kg and that's just about right for me, to be honest I didn't really feel much difference until the last stone came off.
-
Great work!.
-
Nip it in the bud and don't throw away all your hard work!. For maintainance I eat like I did when loosing throughout the week then I can have a treat at the weekend without gaining weight.

Looking damn fine!, you should be proud of what you've achieved ;).
