I delcline food and treats.all the time, it's not rude at all!. Maybe take some snacks along with you?. Went for a family meal yesterday, normally it would have been 2800 kcal for what I used to eat, I still enjoyed a burger with diet coke and it came out at 1200 (god bless diet coke). I didn't feel guilty refusing a pint…

Half of it may be water related?, maybe brace yourself to gain half of it back. I weigh daily and lose on Tuesdays and Fridays for some odd reason.. You never know, yoh could be lucky and keep all.of it off!.
-
Good work!.

I'd like to be at 14% at the end of my journey going by those pictures. The 20% woman looks perfect imho too..

If they're eating the correct maintenance calories, why would they put weight back on?.
-
I had a week "off" on holiday, just enjoyed myself and ate what I fancied. Got back and weighed in a kilo heavier, that went within the week going back to normal eating.. For me, dieting and going to the gym do not sound very holiday-ish but everyone is different!.
-
As above, technically you don't have to do any exercise to lose weight, just try and eat at a (weekly) deficit.
-
I eat at a deficit and cycle to work and back every day, you don't have to kill yourself with exercise to lose weight.. Slow and steady wins the race, set a realistic goal for the next month/ six months and work towards it. 2lb a week seems to be the accepted max weight to lose, don't try and lose more than that. Good…

I couldn't manage a day without a decent amount of carbs!.
-
Cycling for me, running would knock my knees and back out in no time at all.. The drawbacks outweight the benifits for me.
-
Good work!, 22lbs down for me and decided to lose another 11lb on top of that..
-
I'd save it for a snack when you are hungry!.
-
I don't see an issue with it, some people are naturally more hungry on a night. I have an apple around 11.30am, 600kcal lunch and tea with the family so technically this may be IF but that's just how it's panned out. As long as you don't feel faint due to lack of food during the day you'll be fine!.
-
Cheers all!, I'm going for another 5 kilos then getting my head around maintaining. Averaging a one and a half pound loss per week so in theory I'll have to eat these calories back on top of my current diet?. Will start slow and keep an eye on the scale!.
-
I cycle to work and back BUT I also did while overweight. The only thing I changed was my diet and coming up to a 2 stone loss, all I did was eat less than before.
-
I think they are around 200kcals a shake?, I make a smal tin of tuna, 2 tomatos and half an onion into a salad for work and it's not much more than that..
-
I weigh daily, interesting to see what effect different foods have on my weight etc. When I get to maintenance and settle down I'll probably go over to once a week.
-
Technically you don't have to work out at all if your main goal is just weight loss.. 80% diet and 20% gym seems to be posted on here quite often. I do half an hours cycling a day and lose a lb a week consistently.
-
Eat properly and you'll be fine, many people on here have maintained a healthy weight for years. I'm 37 and a touch off goal weight but will keep an eye on my weight from now, it's easy to get used to big meals and snacks..
-
I'm 5'9", I would say 72kg is a very healthy weight for your height and 60kg is far to thin!.
-
I'm not far off maintenance now, my plan is to eat as I have done now during the week then I can have a weekend of enjoyment to bring my total up!. A full pizza is around 2000kcal or more (yummy!).
-
I'm 5'9" and 1 kilo off my original goal weight of 80kg. Having the goal helps a lot to get motivated and keep track. Once I've hit goal I'll let my belly be my guide!, set my ticker for 78kg final weight and don't want to go much under that, healthy not skinny for me..
-
I was thinking that, but you can't say it out loud..
-
CICO has worked very well for me..
-
Can't say it's something I've ever looked for in a woman, think it's more of a fashion thing..
-
I used to drink 5 pints or more most nights, dropped down to 2 pints a night and now I have a drink once a week or when friends come round. Alcohol was my main excess calorie intake..
-
I used to eat a whole bag for a snack (dread to think how many calories!).
-
Same here!, 1.5 kg to go till my orignal goal and the belly is finally going..
-
Maybe have a treat meal at the weekend, but a whole weekend of eating won't end well!. Moderation is key, if I have friends coming round I'll enjoy a nice meal and some drinks but not every Saturday and Sunday..
-
Nothing wrong with a treat now and then!, looks lovely!.
