I didn't eat that peanut butter cream filled long John today because I couldn't find nutritional information. It was staring me in the face all day. Tomorrow I plan on finding a small donut with values so I can satisfy my craving. Normally I would have scarfed down 3!!

I too love icecream. Instead of eliminating it from my diet I bought a light vanilla option and stuck to my guns about measuring it exactly to fit in to my calorie goal. When I first started I'd have 4 servings or 2 cups... which was around 400 calories. That was about 1/2 as much as I'd normally eat. Now I am to the point…

For me, fast food was/is my emotional-eating-go-to-food. Ooohh... especially a double whopper with cheese and a large fry with zesty sauce. YUM. Initially it makes me "feel" better mentally... but then I feel guilty for eating it and my body feels sluggish and gross. By the age of 15 I could eat as much as my dad-TWO…

Awesome post! By expressing your struggle you've started to break the cycle. One thing that has really helped with me is a program I'm participating in. They hold me accountable--I need to stay within a certain amount of calories a day, eat a specific amount of fiber and drink a minimum amount. I'm "required" to turn my…

Fantastic! I don't have children myself but my nephew is about to turn 1. I want to be able to play actively with him when he's a little older... I have almost as much weight to lose in total as you did so this is inspiration! I bet your children are loving all of your energy :)

Awesome job!!!!

Yeah, I had horrible gas pain in my right shoulder for a couple days following surgery. This isn't that--It feels like a gallbladder attack. I went back to my doctor and he started me on something that helps with bile diarrhea. He actually was considering admitting me to the hospital for pain control but I felt I'd be more…

Thank you all!!

I have the opposite problem... my pelvic floor spasms/tightens up causing horrendous pain. Regardless... I would talk with a urologist to rule out any other possible causes and then ask to be referred to a Pelvic Floor Therapist.

I absolutely love scarves... so my "small" reward was to spend earn 5 dollars to go toward purchasing a new scarf. Then I switched to yarn... because I love to crochet. I already have an over abundance of these items, so rewarding myself with them was a way to justify buying more.

That is a really cute idea!

That is awesome!! Way to change a bad habit. (I'm still working on it).

At 321 I bought a new jean skirt-size 22 that was still quite snug. Now at 300.4 I can pull down the same skirt over my hips without unbuttoning!! Also-there has been a size 20 jean skirt that I haven't been able to wear for 5 years that I can now button up. It is still snug so I'll wait a little while longer to wear it.

I'm very happy for you! Keep up the good work. I too also wear a size 12 in shoes. I'm hoping mine will shrink as I get closer and closer to goal :). Also, I love your dress in your profile pic! Cute!!

Awesome job!

That's good :) Keep up the great work!!

I'll do my best to follow along.

Awesome job! Be careful to not let the blister get too bad. I had one on the ball of my foot about 1 1/2 in in diamater... it still isn't completely healed.

Hahaha. Took me a little while to figure out what you meant.... I'm slow tonight.

Hmmmm... You're right--Smoothies are better. If I do a smoothie I'd still get to keep the fiber count (My minimum is 25 a day). Thanks for the help :)

I haven't cut anything fully out of my diet... I just eat/drink in moderation. Of all things right now I've been craving Icee's. If I know that I want something as a treat, I'll try to do a smaller portion of it but then also plan ahead. This usually means low calorie veggies or fruits throughout the day so I don't go over…

Totally off subject... but I love your Tardis ticker!! :)

Something I read said to add up everything and then take the fiber times 4 and subtract it from the total. Instead of messing with all the manual calculations this is easier... for me at least. I don't like math. :)

If you have calories left over, I'd go ahead and have some. Or try sweet fruit to get some sugar... this helps with my sugar cravings. Of all things I've been craving Icee's. Instead if getting a 44oz lije I used to I've been getting a small... that way I satisfy the craving. Most of the time though I try to eat fruit…

It could be several reasons. Had you already eaten when you were weighed? Did you wear clothing that were heavier than before? Is it the same scale? Do you feel bloated or constipated? Did you have a lot of sodium in the last couple of days?
-
Great job! You look awesome. How tall are you? I'm about a pound away from dipping below 300 :)

Oh my word! I was about to post the same question! Haha. Ive been getting anxious because people I see day to day haven't really said anything (I've lost 30lbs). But my family that I only see every month or so saw me after I had lost a full 20lbs and noticed. I'm 5'10".

Yes, in a way. My roommate has a "Oh, just do it" attitude. Here I am measuring/weighing food and there she is "oh, that's too much work" and "just eat it, already. " My family is sort of the same. When I was visiting all 5 siblings this weekend they all probably ate 1000 calories each in chocolate on front of me. That is…

Within the last 3 years I graciously let my mother live with me. She'd eat a whole loaf of bread in one sitting but then tell me I needed to watch my calories when I at a salad. She also told me that I was so fat that she was embarrassed to be seen with me. Needless to say I had found her another place to live.

Thank you so much!! :)
