Not only have you done a great job losing a lot of weight, but holy Hannah, look how much younger you look now! Wow! Go, you!

I love the Flat Out sandwich wraps. Use lite Laughing Cow instead of mayo, some sliced turkey breast, julienned carrots and cucumber, roll it up and it makes a great crunchy, filling sandwich.

bprague is 100% correct.

Piece? Mercy.

Most people start with Shred and move on to Ripped but if you are already at an ok fitness level, you could start with Ripped. They're both pretty good interval training workouts. Good luck!

Why not just select whatever the activity level is that is one step above sedentary (non-desk job, but not highly active)?

Pumpkin puree, spices and a little Splenda. Yum!

The thing is, there will *always* be birthdays, and holidays, etc. and you have to be prepared on those days, just as you are every other day of the year. If I know that I am going to an event/party/dinner, then I exercise more on that day to build up extra calories in my bank, and I eat light for the other meals so that I…

Love it! Last night we had the Asian Peanut Noodles with Chicken - it was absolutely outstanding. So good. We've had the Kalua Pork (and leftovers with bbq sauce); shrimp tacos; BLT lettuce wraps; Thai coconut chicken. There's a great summer salad with tomatoes, black beans, avocado and maybe corn - really tasty. I know…

That's awesome!

I think MFP's figures are based on someone working out hard, hence the inflation. That's why using a HRM is so much better.

I've lost over 54 pounds so far by exercising in my living room (and, obviously, eating right). I have an elliptical and started out using that as my main form of exercise. Then I did Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred (twice, back to back); Pauline Nordin's Butt Bible; Jillian Michaels' Ripped in 30; a whole bunch of stuff…

I was reading this thread over the weekend, and kept showing pics to my husband "Look at her! Look at him! One year!" You all have so, so much to be proud of. I think this thread is fantastic inspiration, especially because it shows a very wide range of body types, heights, weights - some people who didn't have a lot to…

I noticed more inches lost than weight when I did it, but I still lost pounds. Question, since your diary is locked - what did you eat while you were doing 30DS?
-
Beautiful!

I want to stand up on a chair and clap for you. Great job! You look absolutely fantastic, and I bet you feel like a million bucks. Congratulations on your success, and here's to great health in 2012!

I've heard great things about it, too, and also understand that they are developing an at-home DVD version. Allabtm, have you heard anything about that?

Ah, Comcast. Maybe TWC will find a replacement. Discovery Health has programming but it's only between 6-7 am, and I work out earlier than that. TWC briefly had a limited ExTV selection last night (now listed under Lifestyle, but when you select it, it still takes you back to sports) but it was gone again this morning.…

Where did you find them? I have Time Warner, and according to the TW On Demand website, exercisetv was supposed to be there through the end of this month but it was gone without warning this morning.

I've done both (just finished Ripped yesterday, actually) and like them both. Yes, the same 3-2-1 format. Ripped is a little bit more challenging and has some more badass moves than 30DS but there isn't anything in either workout that is un-doable, if that makes sense. If you tend to use the modifications, then it's a…

Do what you want, of course, but I agree with the suggestions to wait until after you've had children. I also just wanted to mention that I've seen comments in here about stretch marks, and people saying the using moisturizers and massage will prevent them or make them go away, and that is just outright untrue. Pregnancy…

I agree with the previous poster. I have done 30DS (twice) and am about to start week 4 of Ripped and Ripped is definitely more challenging than 30DS. Not killer, but just more intense.

I like oatmeal with a scoop of pumpkin puree and spices, maybe a Splenda to sweeten it a bit. Yum.

I get up at 5:30 and work out first thing. It makes me feel more energized for the day ahead, and it also helps me to be able to plan what I will eat each day based on my burn level. Also, most of the time my kids are still sleeping then, so it's a little slice of "me" time.

Not at all. If you look in the Success Stories part of the message board, you will see a post from a member who lost 92 pounds without ever going to the gym (or having surgery) - all in the comfort of her home. She's incredible!
-
Isn't she amazing? Steph is an enormous source of inspiration for me. Check out the link in her ticker! Wow, wow, wow.

Welcome! I hope you love it here and that you are able to reach the goals you've set for yourself. <3

Pauline Nordin's Butt Bible!
