  • Oh and if anyone is interested, the crusted tilapia meal included the roasted veggies and garden salad w/ red wine vinaigrette for less than 600 calories. It tells you all that in the menu.
  • But see, if you look up roasted veggies by themselves, they are only like 40 calories (I got those too and they weren't swimming in butter). I'm think it's more the serving size and the fact that it was baked vs. fried in butter.
  • What's the name of your blog?
  • I get it too and I want to run SO bad. I just can't. I'm assuming it's because I'm SO out of shape. I'm 5'1" and 260lbs. The thing is, I can do so many other exercises. I can take 1 hour zumba classes. I can do 1 hour step classes. But I can't run 1 minute (literally, I'm proud of 45 seconds) without my lungs feeling like…
  • When we were trying to get pregnant with #3, I suddenly stopped ovulating and therefore not getting my period. I would call my OB somewhere in the 50-60 day of my cycle. He would then prescribe me a med (can't remember the name) to start my period. I don't know what the exactly time frame is of how long you can wait.
  • Read most of the thread. Here are my thoughts 1. If you logged 1200 calories eaten, how many did you burn through exercise? You're probably netting less than 1000? 2. Give us a run down of what you eat in a typical day. What do you do for exercise (run, walk, etc? How long?) 3. If logging calories is difficult for you…
  • I have a Y membership, but it's not always easy to get the 2.5 year old out the door. Easier to do it at home while he naps :)
  • Keep in mind the 49 weekly points you get and you can also eat your activity points. Break down the 49 to 7 and that's an extra 280 calories a day (7*40). FWIW: - My WW points (when converted to calories) almost match exactly my MFP caloires. .
  • I see the FT4 on amazon for $68. Does that sound right? These have a chest strap, correct? I feel like something must be missing for only $68, but maybe that's the price now? I have an old style Polar F6 and am thinking of upgrading.
  • New here too, but wanted to chime in. I think it all evens out. When I was doing WW, a lot of people on there would start their "day" at dinner time and end at lunch/afternoon snack the next day. They found it easier to eat their big meal first and then adjust their breakfast and lunch based on how many points they had.
  • I'm new here, so take this for what it's worth, but... Biggest Loser Jillian Michaels is in the business of weight loss. So, when she speaks of weight loss, then YES, the purpose of exercise FOR WEIGHT LOSS, is to create a calorie deficit. HOWEVER, most people know, or should know, that there are far more benefits of…
  • I double checked my numbers? According to IPOARM and using the fit2fat radio, the writer of that post says to put your GOAL weight as your current weight. So when I do that, I get the same as my TDEE. Either way, it's the TDEE - 20% that I should be using right?
