I have well over a ten year streak here. Things were FINE. Now this place is a ghost town.

Sadly, I do this. I need to stop. :-/

I don't go there, but personally, I kind of like the idea of a place where people do not throw their weights around, sling chalk, and grunt like they're constipated. (All things I've observed at other gyms.) Just my thoughts...

This is bad. Very bad. I'm so sorry. ;-)

Haha! I love this thread!

Exactly! That penis sure gives one an edge, doesn't it?

I was a promotional model. $20.00/hr to hand out makeup samples. Not too shabby!

A close family member of mine is in prison. They don't have access to the internet.

As a Yoga junkie, I, of course, must mention "Chair Yoga," which can be done anywhere. http://www.soundtells.com/YogaSitting/index.html

Bahahahaha! Oh, that's awful! It reminds me of one time in CA and I noticed a very famous actor. (This is the HONEST truth!) Well, I saw him lift his hand to his face, pick his nose, do that little roll-it-into-a-ball thingy and flick it off of his hand! I just couldn't EFFING believe it! :noway:

Yes, thank you! GET OUT OF MY SPACE BUBBLE!!! :noway:

I have recently heard of the term "Pescatarian" meaning people who eat fish but no other meat...Pescatarian is a more accurate term for me personally, although about 99% of the time I lead a vegetarian inspired lifestyle. I have also heard the term "Veganish" for those who are trying to become more Vegan, but haven't quite…

OH, yummm! :-)

<--drooling at what hajjcomb suggested! :-) I snack on nuts a lot. I know they are high in calories and fat, but they are plant fats and protein, and therefore good for your body and muscles. Plus they are very filling! A handful of nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts) will really curb your hunger if that pizza starts to sound…

My entire family loves it. We use it for everything, and no one misses regular dairy milk. I have even used the regular, unsweetened when making mac-n-cheese.

There is no formula for determining when you may or may not stop thinking about this. I, too, have been afflicted by bulimia, as well as anorexia, and I've got to be honest, I still "think about it" from time to time. But, I have found that Yoga, Hypnosis and having a firm spiritual foundation helps me to manage it. I…

A lactating mommy needs up to 700 ADDITIONAL calories a day, so if you're working out really hard and also still nursing, you may need even more calories. :-) I agree with some of the other posts, though...your baby's age has a lot to do with it. And yes, KUDOS to you for breastfeeding! It's the best!

San Antonio, here! :-)

If you have NetFlix, watch "Change your food, change your life." It's a LOW budget film about how an ordinary mom went vegan. When I watched it, I went full-on veggie, (not vegan) simply because it was so inspiring! I TRY to be vegan now, but I don't beat myself up if I slip up. But being a plain-ol' vegetarian feels…

Soy, broccoli, nuts (oh, I love nuts) beans (all kinds!) and protein shakes. (Veg friendly, of course.) I love mushrooms, too! Mmm!

WOW! Thanks for the info. I'm more than intrigued!

Emma, me too! I would just as soon let someone smoke a cigarette in my house as let them cook meat products, particularly pork. Ugh. And I used to be a BONA FIDE bacon addict! Teresa--are you on FaceBook? I have an event set for August 15 in which people go Vegan for 24 hours--just to try it. Let me know if you're…

Yay! Thanks for standing up and saying "Aye!" I love connecting, and look forward to learning more from each and every one of you. :-)

It's been so fun! My Auntie-In-Law bought me a weighted hoop, and man, it DOES bruise you the first couple of times! But it's so addicting! When I start it, I have to see how long I can go! :-)

Yes, welcome! :-)

I burn more on the elliptical than I do on any other piece of equipment at the gym. I love how it REALLY gets my heart rate up and doesn't hurt my joints. :-)
