Keep up the great work! This is inspiring.

As RodaRose mentioned, seek out your school's fitness center. Try to stay as active as possible and make healthy food choices. Usually the cafeterias offer a salad bar of some sort and stick to lean meats like turkey, chicken, etc. Best of luck in school.

You won't get all "muscley" by lifting heavier. The more muscle you gain, the more calories you will ultimately burn over the course of the day. Plus muscle is more compact than fat too. It's better to lose weight and gain muscle simultaneously. Anyways, kettlebells are a great exercise option, especially if you want to…

like others have said, my rings spin now...they're too big lol. also, losing weight is an expensive thing to deal with since you have to buy new clothes.
-
I do feel like that at times.

this really gives me a lot of hope...Once I lose the last amount of weight, I was highly considering getting surgery to fix some things. Thank you for sharing your story. You look amazing.

oh gosh thank you for noticing that! for the past year, I have incorporated weight training into my exercising with the help of my trainer.

Like others have said, everything in moderation. I eat string cheese as a part of my snacks on a pretty much daily basis. And it's a source of protein too. I've lost almost 100 lbs. and still losing while continuing to eat it. As long as you don't overdo it with cheese, you'll be fine I think.

In the morning, on an empty stomach. Also, when it's check in day with my PT, which is once a month.

Consistently take transformation pics, measure yourself. It's helped me a lot. Also, by participating in weight loss support groups online, it keeps me motivated because I know there's folks out there doing the same thing as me and want to succeed. Also, reading fitness magazines, trying new exercise activities, and trying…

roughly 1400-1500 calories.

I am a tad. I decided recently that I'm only going to weigh once a month because that daily fluctuation can drive me crazy. I don't want to do that to myself anymore, so that's the best course of action for me.

I have a few pencil skirts that I got recently that I want to get into by the end of the summer. They're transition pieces, but I'll be happy to wear them when I can get into them comfortably.

Glad to see some folks in this thread are talking with some common sense.

Sorry...but I don't agree with anyone who is saying to throw the peanut butter away. It's not hers to throw away to begin with, no matter how wrong the other sister may be for buying it (if she actually did or not). You gotta learn to control your urges and not let it affect you.

Really congratulations on your progress. I can't wait to get where you are now currently. Keep up the good work.

Folks don't really endorse using herbalife or any of the other meal replacement shake programs around here, so you will probably get more of the similar comments that you see in this thread and other threads about it. From a person that does not sell the products, I've lost a majority of weight so far from drinking the…

I would suggest maybe investing in a heart rate monitor. It's been very helpful for me while exercising.
-
So you've actually used a HRM to measure calorie burn during a Zumba session?
-
I don't do those exercises, but from what you have mentioned in your post, I would do a combination of both. You seem to be getting good results from both, so a combination of the two couldn't hurt.

Those are some great changes with your body. Keep up the good work.

Wow such a difference. Congratulations on your weight loss. You look wonderful.

It's my pleasure. I just cleaned up the code for you :-) Great progress btw.

Great post

I want it private because the diary is for my personal use to count calories, etc. and I'm not looking for any help from the MFP community in regards to that. *shrugs shoulders*

I'm shooting for 150 right now and then will reassess how I look and feel when I get there.
-
I felt like I was obsessing over the scale when I checked every day in the past. Now, I'm just doing it once a month. It works for me. I stress out less over it.
-
you look great. congrats on your making it to your goal.

weight will come on regardless if a person isn't eating healthy after they decide to get off what ever diet they may have been using. just sayin'.
