Thank you all so much!

Thanks for the encouragement! It's a tough road but if I keep looking back at where I started, I'll keep moving forward.

So I completed day one of the C25K program on Monday. Afterwards, my ankles/calves are very sore. I was unable to complete day 2 yesterday to the pain. They feel somewhat better today but I'm worried about trying to keep jogging. Even though I have lost 55 pounds, I'm still at 392. Should I just allow myself to lose more…

Completing a Spartan Race is one of my end goals as well. I still have quite a bit of weight to lose before I attempt one though. A lot of good info on this thread.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Last night, I completed the first day which required me to jog for 60 seconds and then walk for 90 seconds for a total of 30 minutes. I felt great afterwards but I am finding that today my ankles are a bit sore. Not extremely painful but still an ache.

Posted this quite a while ago but wanted to know if anyone else had an experience with this?

I feel a bit better now. Thanks everyone. I'll keep going so I can see some really impressive results

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I'm being to hard on myself. I put the two pictures together and there might possibly be a difference. I'll try and post it.

Right now I am just going for a walk at a moderate pace for 30 minutes a day. I may start adding in some weight training soon though. Feel free to add me if you need any help or encouragement.

That is a great attitude. You can do this!

You can really eat whatever you like as long as it falls within your nutrition and calorie goals. I have lost 27lbs since august 1st doing this. I eat whatever I want as long as I have the calories available. This has made the difference for me this time.

Thanks! That's really helpful

44lbs is a great loss! You've got this! Just remember, you may have more to lose but you're 44 lbs closer!

Hi all. This seems like a really good thread to post in. My name is Jimmie. I joined MFP in the hopes of finally getting my life together. I have always been overweight but sadly I let it spiral out of control. I have already lost 20 lbs since joining but i have another 230 to lose. It can really seem overwhelming so I am…

Thank you so much for this post. I really needed to see this today.

I love your story so much. Thank you for sharing. This is what I look forward to most. Being able to ride the coasters. I haven't been able to ride in close to five years as well. Great job!

I did that two weeks ago. I bought a 4 pack of Mt. Dew Throwback. I promised myself I would only drink one every week. I use to drink 2 liters a day. I still have 3 left. I just make sure I work it into my calories when I have one.

Hey there! I've got a good friend who lives in Greenville. I visit every now and then. I'm in Charleston SC. Feel free to add me!

I've been eating what I normally would. Just less than I would normally eat. I've lost 20 lbs since August 1st. I think that is what really makes the difference this time.

The more friends we have, the better off we are. We all could use more motivation. Feel free to add me!

Would love to see this thread grow. I have quite a bit to lose.

I appreciate all the suggestions. It's just very confusing. MFP tells me I have about 2600 calories a day. When I told my doctor I was trying to eat at least 2,000 calories a day, he was not happy. He told me I need to be eating 1,500 maximum a day.

I could always use some new motivational friends. I recently started back on MFP as well. Feel free to add me.

Awesome! Truly inspirational.

Great job! Really inspirational

Hi there! I too have quite a bit to lose. A little over 200lbs actually. The challenge seems almost unbeatable at first. Something that has really helped me lately though, don't look at the longterm goals. Take this challenge one day at a time. View it like climbing a mountain. Take a few steps each day and before you know…

I Started T25 today as well. It was pretty tough but I can tell it was a great workout. Anyone feel free to add me if you want to help encourage each other!
