Okay now remember that in order to Gain 1 pound you would need to eat 3500 calories ( equals 1 lb) OVER & ABOVE your daily maintainence calories..(including your exercise cals) that equates to a heck of alot of pigging out..right..just sayin keep it in focus

No..the deficit doesn't show up in your daily diary..you should try to eat as close to All the green number calories as you can.

yes to all..the chest strap is vinyl..you can't push any buttons while wearing it in the water.

I just bought the Polar FT4 on amazon. I really like it and it was about 75.00. it does have the chest strap and show cals. burned and how long you were in the burn zone.

well...I;m usually very hungry the day after I play 18 holes..not the day of. so yes I think its possible that our bodies need more food after the fact. In looking at your food diary i don't really see much quantity of food eaten. event tho a can of tuna is high protein and good for you, it doesn't stick to your ribs like…

I think many of us use food as entertainment..try to find another hobby that fills your needs and passions. take a hike, paint, play golf, swim, take up sports, play with your animals, ride a bike..eat to live don't live to eat.:flowerforyou:

I have been succesful fasting one other time and it seemed to me my thinking just got very clear and sharp! I loved that feeling. question: why must you do this along with resistance training?

I'm hypo and i fight for every ounce i lose! i log everything and of course i'm not perfect with what i eat but it has been a very slooooooow loss. It's taken nearly 6 months to lose 13lbs and i've lost nothing for 4 weeks now!! I won't give up! just keep on keepin on, but it is surely a frustrating feeling huh?

i don't really know what is hashimotttos..but i am hypo thyroid plus my age working against me. it is a very slow weight loss battle. just keep on keepin on and surely it will break loose!

I try to look at the whole picture..it takes 3500 cals to gain or lose a lb..so if my calories all average out the way they need to for say 1 week then I'm all good. I agree though not to go below your calories given by MFP. Take a little longer walk than normal for a few days.

60 grams of fat a day!? equates to 60x9=540 based on 1200 calories eaten thats 45% fat!! not very good advice..sorry

well yes MFP bases cals. burned on your weight and time played..I use 4 hours because thats what I play 18 holes in..lol:happy: the HRM just accounted for total cals burned & also the time in "the zone" which I suppose means cardio time..? I confuse...

yes i'm with you on that! I play 18 holes of golf about 3-4x a week MFP says cals burned for my weight are over 1000 which i think to be quite high..so..I just received today my polar f4t and I will be comparing it in the next week or 2 just to see if they are even close..meawhile after 5 months I only eat back about…

Here a thought...If you took in 30 grams of fat at 9 per gram=270 cals right? and MFP recommends (me for example) 1200 cals.. that would be 22% fat and that is very, very lowfat eating and not realistic for me to stick with for my life plan..I try for about 28-30% fat for the day~~based on 1200 cals thats around 40 grams…

thanks~~ as far as sugar goes I have never been a fruit eater..but lately I love love berries with greek yogurt, iv'e also been doing a whey protein drink with skim milk last few weeks..carbs are set at 30%~ fat is at 30%~ cook all my own meals to keep sodium & fat down,,except very ocassional fast food~~i went back…
