I went in to my goals and re-set my protein to a higher amount 40% and 30% carbs..I feel much better eating more protein and it sustains me longer when I play hard or exercise. I does help satiate the appetite , so for me this is the right formula.

hi all..back from 2 days at the lake..i didn't really do too badly 1/2 a beer, 2 gins daytime & 2 red wines for dinner each day, but that is still too many..my fat gut is coming back!! I did swim and row a raft a bit, but the sodium blues :frown: also has me down. Back to work on my plan this week and no drinks till…

so we're off in the morning to our boat on lake powel (az.) that means 100* temps, cold coronas with limes, gin & tonics and wine with dinners..whew! if i come back in one piece I will start over next week... I will get plenty of exercise and swimming in but..someone please pray for my liver.

The correct serving of red wine is 5 ounces..no matter what size the glass..I believe a serving of white is 3.5 as it has more sugar.

This is my problem also! I'm a competitive player and it hampers my game to drink..but after I've played I love love a cold amber or glass of white wine. I play 3-4 days a week ( i know sad huh) and a drink helps me get over a bad round or celebrates a good round!!

SODIUM is the culprit most likely..I peeked in your diary and you are consuming a lot of sodium. Yes try more water and add a few slices of cucumber, a slice or 2 of fresh ginger and a sqeeze if lemon. If you drink your water at room temp. it doesn't take as long to release your fluid (pee) :laugh:

for me I don't really have a cheat day, I eat healthy (mostly), if I eat something that may be too high in fat or calories, I account for it somewhere else within my week of tracking.
