Good one!

If you are serving out of guilt, then it is not really serving. If God puts something on your heart, then he will give you the strength and desire to do it. However, you ARE serving him by honoring your commitment to your mother and by taking care of children. It may not be serving under the banner of the church, but it…

Amen! Good word!

Thank you so much! God bless all of you!

I just got there too!! But it has been over a decade for me since I last weighed less than 200 pounds. It feels great!!!
-
I can do any day really. Let's go with Friday.

I like that idea. It is nice to be encouraged daily! And we should be encouraging each other!

I don't know if it works, but I do like the support it gives my midsection when I am working out.
-
I am interested. I haven't worn a bikini since I was a child and shouldn't have wore one then either!
-
It has worked for me! I have just started jogging (I hate to run, but am trying to get into it.) But I have lost 76lbs since May, so as long as you are moving, it counts!
-
I will be home, so yes. It's a day like any other day. But I do plan to enjoy it!

Well, if you have a smart phone you can scan most of your foods. I can't wait until I can upgrade mine so I can start scanning!
-
You are doing awesome!!! You look amazing!!!
-
Congrats! Keep up the great job!

I just try to stay under the carbs and fat that MFP sets for me after I exercise. You may also want to try changing your routine. Either the type of exercise or how long you do it for.

I have PCOS as well and I have been doing fairly well getting the weight off. Just keep a deficit (nothing crazy) and you will lose weight.
-
My pants started falling off around 40lbs. I agree with it all depends on where your body stores weight and where it sheds it first.

Cold, yes. Flu, no.

I could not resist either, but was pleasantly surprised. I actually lost! I did work out twice though because I felt guilty....

I think you can eat less calories than 1200 per day if you are under 5'3". Does the software tell you to eat more? It didn't get onto my Mom when she was under 1200 (she's 5'3"), but mine screams at me if I don't consume at least that many (I am 5'7").

According to an article I rad in a WebMD magazine today, the only way to get of subcutaneous fat (fat under the skin) was cardio, cardio, and more cardio. They divided participant into 3 groups: cardio only, strength training only, and both. The group cardio only lost the most of this type of fat which is the kind you want…

I would probably try try something that drops down from the waist or, since you say you don't have hips, or that has a pencil style bottom. A-lines thend to hide hips, so that probaly would not work for you. Just my opinion. I just bought my dress and I tried on about 50 of them in different styles until I found the one I…

The body fat calculator put me at 27.7 which is "Acceptable". The waist to hip ratio was .79 which is "low risk". The BMI (which takes nothing into account as far as muscle mass or bone structure) states 33.3 which is "Obese". As the song states, 2 out of 3 ain't bad!
-
Well I think you look great! All they do is look at a chart, not the person! Those charts were made back when people were built smaller. They also don't take into account bone structure or muscle mass. I don't even use the BMI on here because I will never be healthy on it. I am also built on a large frame, so even the high…

If you have confirmed its accuracy thus far, I would go with it. I have burned that many calories before on workouts I have really exerted myself on.

OMG! Too funny!!!

I have the Gazelle Power Plus. I wanted to get an elliptical but the cheapest I could find was $700. I went to Play It Again Sports (a store that re-sells gently used equipment as well as new) and paid $150 for it. I like it. It gives me a good work out. I just increased the intensity on it and the pumps take about 8-10…

Sounds normal to me. Mine are 26". As long as the are proprtionate to your body, I wouldn't worry about it.
-
I set mine for 1-1/2 lbs per week. That seems to work well for me. Good luck!!
