I over ate, only by around 200-300 on 2 days but weighed myself this morning and I've lost 2lbs over the weekend!

Started at 225. Down to 184, want to get down to between 120-140 somewhere. 5'4 feel free to add!

For you it would be that you feel that you're the fat friend, but they probably have their own worries. Being the single one, the one with the biggest nose, smallest boobs, least friends etc you wouldn't notice it (unless it's spoken about) because it doesn't matter to you, it doesn't change your opinion on them which is…

The weight instantly came off my face/neck and waist first. The bits that basically haven't changed whatsoever are my hips! Making buying a dress an impossible job when there's 12" between the 2!

I've been veggie for 5 years, but am now vegan. All you fellow vegans - add me!

I'm such an odd shape right now!! I'm 185lbs, 5'4, on top I'm a size 14 (think that's a US 10?) but on the bottom I'm a 20!!(poss a US size 16) Just waiting for it all to level out!

Calories, just calories for me! Some days I'm SO unhealthy, but I'm always within my calories and have continued to loose weight at a steady pace so I'm happy!
-
Have only just posted this on another thread but here it goes again! Definitely NOT a before and after, still need to loose another 50lbs, but happy with how much has come off my face and neck so far!
-
Definitely still a work in progress as only a third through my journey, but still pleased!

I'm on 1,400. Recently raised it from 1,200 and I always have to consciously make up that extra 200 at the end of the day. This is coming from somebody who was 225lbs, I'm 5'4 and at one point was addicted to food eating 5000+ calories a day. My best advice is to plan meals in advance, especially at the beginning. Replace…

I'm not sure I'll ever enjoy running but the fact that I cannot perform a basic human function really, really irritates me. Plus, who knows when I'll REALLY need to run. It's always going to be a "handy" thing to excel at. I'll pursue with what I'm doing but if 6 months down the line I still don't enjoy it BUT I can long…

The bursts sound good to me too. I'm a dog walker so it'll be really easy to incorporate. Thanks for all the advice - I'm starting tomorrow!

Any tips for the breathing? Is it normal to feel like your lungs can't keep up with you at the beginning?! I've never had this with any other cardio!
-
No I'm too ashamed to try at the gym! It's just out in field etc Happyfeetrebel, this is where I'm at now. 30 seconds would be a victory! I've looked at the C25k challenge briefly but, even with that name, thought it would be too advanced for someone who can't even run for a minute?

If it's dairy you're trying to avoid then there are looooads of vegan milk chocolates with cow milk alternatives.
-
And only 1/3 of the way through too so I'm hoping for some lovely slim face at the end!

Didn't even realise there had been a change before finding these old photos! I'm so glad I don't look like that now!!!<img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5021879/uploads/FileUpload/48/368e50a498c6c4ae42872c9de4ec79.jpg" />

Thanks for all the replies. I did start to loose weight before joining MFP but do accept that even with the previous weight loss, it has been a quick one. My BMR is 1,600 and apart from the exercise I add in (including steps) I do practically nothing. Can anybody suggest what a more suited calorie intake would be without…

I can't answer many of them! No idea about blood pressure, I just get it done at the doctors and pay attention to the "normal" or "low" rather than the numbers. Again, no idea about my healthy weight as I didn't own scales back then but around 140, 150lbs. Maybe on the lower side of overweight actually. The things I lack…

I don't think I'm obsessing, I'm just curious as the scale has always been going down even though I over eat occasionally, so I didn't know if it was still to come as numerous sites I found say it can take weeks. Makterbro & Ylvak you've both said what I experience, just a slowing over a couple of days rather than a gain.…

I find older people compliment me more than younger! I'm self employed and my older customers are more blunt and will say I look like I've lost weight, or ask me if I have. Whereas the not so older ones won't say anything, or they'll say I look pretty, or another compliment that isn't weight related! Like others have said,…

I live in stretchy clothes and it seems to do the job! Leggings and cami tops/dresses. Buy them tight in the first place and you'll be good for a few drops in size!
-
Just make sure each meal is 400 calories and under, and make everything from scratch. My 400 calorie meals are sausage (quorn) casserole, chilli con carne (quorn), any vegetable soup, chicken (quorn) wrap with cous cous and salad, falafel wrap, jacket potato with fried tomato and onion, chicken (quorn) salad with nuts and…

Me! I'm hoping for a bit more than that by Christmas but I can say "at least 20lbs by Xmas"!
-
Like others have said, it'll even out if and when it wants to! Up until yesterday I had lost 5" from my bust, 5" from my waist but none from my hips making it a very odd looking 11" difference between waist and hips! I've been dieting about 9 weeks and only yesterday was there a change on my hips!

In all honesty, the chances are quite high that there will be loose skin when you get down to a healthy BMI. How much loose skin is mainly down to genetics followed by how quickly you loose the weight. I'm loosing the best part of 100 lbs. I've done loads of research on other people loosing 100 lbs and haven't found/seen…

I now believe the scales!

I pulled out an old pair of jeans this morning. I had given up on them a good few months ago when they became too tight so, although I can't see it in myself, the scales say I've lost weight so assumed they must fit me by now.. First time I've uploaded a picture so hope it works..

I've got this problem too but I'm a veggie going on vegan. I can eat more protein but usually these things are high in calories so at the moment I'm choosing low calorie and low protein until I get enough money to get some protein powder. BUT, you do eat meat so I kinda see as you have it easy! You can get all your protein…

2lb a day?! Or a week? I'm 5'4, 23 years old, in total loosing the best part of 100lbs and I'm on 1,200 a day. I probably burn around 300 calories a day in exercise and I guess I loose about 3-5 lbs a week if that helps? With 1,200 diets you just can't afford to eat junk! If you're eating 1,200 a day with just veg, fruits,…
