Thank you! i used to feel like a freak when i slipped and stuck something in my mouth and spit it out right away. New habits have to start somewhere!!!! (*)

Per serving: 280 calories, 4g total carbs, 2g net carbs, 25g fat, 11g protein (Note: Please remember these numbers are based on the brands I used and may vary slightly with other brands.)

Not sure where you are going.. Caesar salad, no croutons, steak w/ broccoli on the side perhaps?? It will happen-we have to chalk it up to a learning experience & move on. But now you know :) don't be so hard on yourself Homer LOL.

and on the "big board" they have 18 pages on "sugar... good or bad" hehe.... it's frustrating over there sometimes!! :s

I stalled after my first 2 weeks not realizing it was pretty normal. (I am only talking of weight loss since I don't watch my blood sugar). I kept with it and then found out stalling after the first 2 weeks is VERY common. Don't give up, I promise things will keep on going.

Wow-Grocery prices are ridiculous, I understand you needing to cut corners with your son's nutritional situation. I just wanted to throw in, if by any chance you are near a Wal-Mart or Sam's, I am impressed with their selection of foods I didn't expect to find there. And with the new price catcher app, you can be fairly…

<When you are hungry, eat. If you are not hungry, don't eat. > This is what i do, i don't run 6 miles but i am much happier after starting to listen to my body. i do work out sometimes twice a day and have days where i am on my feet entirely.

*~good work~*

those are amazing pics, you look gorgeous!

That is phenomenal! Keep up the good work! It doesn't matter WHAT exercise you do as long as YOU enjoy it enough to STICK WITH IT! Moving your body is the important thing. Such an awesome story. I love it!

That is awesome!!!!!!

DeansDad, Yes, for me, this sums it up: <if by "counting" folks actually mean "tracking" (as opposed to "focusing on") it makes more sense to me - it's all about where one places their priorities. For us (many of us) it's about carbs/macros first, cals secondarily. > Because I am new to...having energy...having a normal…

i think you should go for it. I think you should set your standards and goals high. Look how far you have come! if you don't like how you feel if you lose more, you can always focus on not losing then and putting some back on. But go for it! Aim for your dream. Not to sound hokey but... why not !!!

<< It takes me 2.5 hours to push mow my lot, not counting trimming out before hand. Dang right I'm logging it (only half what MFP recommends btw, as previously stated). I do it once a week. Definitely not an everyday thing. Do I say "I'm going to workout, be back in a couple hours?", no, but I do still log it as calories…

I feel amazing since trying Atkins induction and now keto. i have alot more energy. my workouts feel different. I love the way i feel. I am not sure if it's for everyone, but i believe this: for SOME people (ie, me) Carb reduction is the key that has kept them from being able to change their WOE and lose weight…

Well I'm happy to be healthy but I do care about loose skin and I'm not afraid to say it :D But...your post was VERY inspirational. Thank you! I think honesty like this can really help people with their concerns and maybe get them started when they would otherwise have an excuse not to. You look amazing! Thanks for being…

I use diet soda when I really want alcohol (which stalls me BIG TIME & makes me gain) or something way naughty. i used to have a huge diet soda addiction so it feels like a *real treat* and i don't gain weight from it when I drink sparingly. And i usually do it away from home (last time was at a concert) as opposed to…

thanks

that's a great feeling :) just as good as a low number on the scale IMHO!!!! congrats!!!!

I do, thanks to PatchEFog's help figuring out where I should be. I stalled and I knew I'd be stuck counting calories again (not just carbs). But, thanks to following LCHF it's not the struggle it used to be with hunger. It's more like someone else said, just a record of things so I know where I am at. I haven't stayed as…
