This would be my preference, mix a flavoured protein powder with milk and let him have it as a milkshake to accompany his oats.

Sundays is ALWAYS my total day off from ANY training. Aside from that I tend to have three days on, one day off, some weeks that means 5 days training and 2 days off with the midweek day off just a bit of cardio/core and some weeks (like last week) are only 4 days on with 3days off, with the non Sunday days off being light…

I would also champion resistance bands. I use Bodylastics with the ultra anchor and any exercise you can do in a gym you can do with bands (I do suscribe to Bodylastics online for their workout vids but that's a choice but imo it's been invaluable)

I've been drinking diet drinks for years now and I used to get quite a few headaches....friends and family assured me it was aspartame that was causing it but eventually I narrowed it down to the fact I was type 2 obese and my diet was *kitten*. Still drink plenty of cherry max but headaches a thing of the past since I…

What the FDA chooses to regulate means bugger all to the rest of the world outside of America!

I'll third this, top quality protein with minimal carbs. I usually buy it plain then add their flavdrops to it.

I get this every now and then...especially from my mother in law who's overweight, has cholesterol and diabetes issues as well as other health issues and I just smile and ignore her...what I want to say is 'you need to spend less time worrying about my weight and worry more about yours'.....but I love my wife and prefer…

I don't even bother tracking sugar...

The only time an apple is horrible for you is if someone launches one into your face!

IMO the best quality isolate vs cost per serving vs protein per serving you can get.....and great flavours to boot. I also use The Protein Works custom builder to create a custom Casien. These are my two go to protein shakes.

Just started using it today after trying a couple of trial packs....it's palatable. Just trying a bit of a cleanse to get rid of this cycled of sweet food addiction I've fallen into since Christmas. So far I'm using it as directed (vanilla flavour, the unsweetened one is minging) with a few grams of added flavouring.

A study by McMaster University demonstrated you CAN build muscle in a calorie deficit IF that diet is supplemented by high protein intake I.e 1g+ of protein per Lb of body weight. And if we are going to be picky, there's actually 3 types of muscle (fibres).
-
Still a positive influence but really wasn't the primary point of my post.
-
Although yes, more muscle has a positive influence on your metabolism it would be incorrect to suggest muscle weighs more than fat. A Lb of fat will weight exactly the same as a Lb of muscle, there would be more of the fat than muscle because of mass/density. Weight and mass/density are not the same. As for myself, I…

Of course, if one were to have a choice, one should always choose clotted cream over whipped cream

Still not out in the UK yet and I no bugger all after the basics about Pokemon but my youngest son loves it and is patiently waiting for it to be released here. I might get it as well then we can go out together looking for some...might drag the wife and and eldest out with us

I pay more attention to my heart rate than the calories when I strength train, I log my exercise calories just so I'm logging exercise but I work to a TDEE formula.

Scrub that, on further examination it looks like you can only sync via iOS which is mad that they still haven't sorted it all out.
-
IF your polar activity tracker syncs via your pc then it should be syncing via their polar flow service, yes? If so then you should still be able to link your polar account to MFP and it should sync across when you sync your tracker on your pc.

Typically I will use powdered vitafibre in a protein shake to boost my fibre (and protein) intake. A 15g serving chucked in with my shake is 14g of fibre
-
I guess your an expert at being considerate when you have gone out of your way to belittle people's higher protein intake levels while coming out with rubbish like 'peeing and pooping out excess protein'
-
Also look into resistance band training, very easy on the joints and you can tailor your workouts with progressive resistance.
-
Pretty good bar, although yes it uses Xylitol as a sweetener and also the main ingredient, the prebiotic dietary vegetable fibre, is vitafibre (imo aka isomalto-oligosaccharide), a soluble fibre that is also used as a sweetener

I buy bags and bags of kale.......the rabbits love the stuff

Depends if your pre-workout is purely a stim product or has other usable ingredients like creatine, citruline malate, beta-alanine, amino acids etc etc

I have a DKN AM-5i and it's a great bike. When I first got it I was doing 60 minutes on it, eventually reduced it to 30 when I upped my strength training routine and now I only do 17 minutes, but it's a HIIT session so pretty intense. 3/4 times a week but definitely NOT on a leg day

MyProtein do quality, value for money protein powders and they also do calorie free flavdrops. My preference is an unflavoured Micellar Casien with the strawberry flavour drops.

It's just like cottage cheese should taste like which I guess was the point, I was just expecting it to be a bit weird (like my experiences with things like protein pancakes). There's 2.5g of fat per serving (half the pot) so yeah, pretty low fat. Ended up eating the whole pot as a desert but got a bit heavy going towards…

Found this in shop, not tried it yet but hoping it's nice. 330g pot, 262kcal, 40g protein

Every high protein, high fibre bar that I know of uses a form of artificial sweetener in the form of vitafibre and oglifructose to a, get the fibre content in the bar and b, to sweeten it without the use of refined sugars. What you want I'm not sure even exists.
