When your sick, it's hard to tell if your body is telling you the truth about what you need. I wouldn't try to eat more the next day, but if you get over it and find yourself ravenous, don't be ashamed to go over.

I agree, I set mine at 35%
-
I don't think the amount matters, that video gave me the motivation and the information to keep up my journey in nutrition. If it has the same effect on anyone else like it did for me, it may help.

I like citric acid sometimes as a substitute for salt. It's not salty, but it makes some food tastier than salt does in my opinion.
-
You might find the video Fat Head inspirational, that's what motivated me. http://www.hulu.com/watch/196879/fat-head

I can answer you, but I need to know your body fat % first.

Try this: http://www.freecoconutrecipes.com/recipe_Gluten-Free_Pizza_Crust.htm I make them extra thin and use them as wraps. They are super tasty.

why do you want to keep protein and fat down?
-
I know, I get it, I kind of expect that response. Speaking on forums is much more difficult for me than giving a lecture. I can't come across as respectable giving my information using this manor. But before you revoke me as just being nuts, I lecture on the idea that I can spark some interest in the topic. I hope that…

Take it how you want, I don't think anyone should make a decision until they've read the data. But I'd hope my claim would at least prompt people to dig a little more. Those that have tend to agree with me. Read Good Calories Bad Calories if you want a run down of every medical study ever done on the matter.
-
I take offence that you imply post hoc ergo propter hoc. That was one of the quickest run downs of information regarding what I was trying to explain. I didn't bother to dig through my collected medical journals and actual study data for you, but if you read some of them I think you'd change your mind. While this is my…

Try it out, it is what our modern collection of science actually points to as the right path. Check out the material in my signature for reassurance.

Your right, they are not a general evil, just the ones that cause insulin to go up. To clarify my point read this: http://health.usnews.com/health-news/diet-fitness/heart/articles/2010/04/12/eating-the-wrong-kind-of-carbohydrates-increases-heart-disease-risk

Under almost all circumstances too much protein is not a problem. But as always, stay on the safe side and have your doctor check for any reason that might prevent you from processing it like most people. @Sunshine_88 I am gonna have to disagree with you on the idea that carbs are not the enemy. No offence, but everything…

I wouldn't recommend it unless you are on a low carb diet
-
Your sodium intake requirement will very based on the kinds of foods you eat. It's kinda complicated, but it should remain in balance with your potassium intake.
-
My recommendation is to lower your carbohydrate intake, and increase your monounsaturated, and saturated fat intake.
-
believe it or not, your problem is likely due to low sodium and dehydration. When starting to burn your own fat for fuel on paleo you release allot of stored water and sodium and you start producing an extra amount of potassium, which imbalances you. try drinking chicken or beef broth.
-
I go out all the time, but then again I don't count calories, I just avoid sugar and grains.
-
If they have a fridge, I like roast beef and string cheese as a snack
-
No matter how much exercise I do, if I load up on that many carbs I never lose weight.
-
I do try to avoid foods with aspartame in them, just because I try to limit my man made foods. However, that being said, I would take aspartame over sugar. Its side affects are not as overblown as they have come to be, and sugar actually has a much longer list of problems it causes. In short, I'd prefer something natural…

I eat when I'm hungry, no matter what time it is. Just make sure you eat healthy foods.
-
bacon, ground beef and chicken are the staples in my diet, they tend to be relatively inexpensive at around $3-$4 a pound
-
After sifting through everything, the only thing I pulled out to actually be cautious about was: Aspartame can cause a rapid increase in the brain levels of phenylalanine. Because of this, use products with aspartame cautiously if you: Take medications such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors, neuroleptics or medications that…

Ah yes, that will keep them coming back :p

I found the video Fat Head to be very eye opening http://www.hulu.com/watch/196879/fat-head Also check out the book Why We Get Fat and What to Do about it I have lost all of my weight following this information, and it only took a few months to do it.
-
This infuriates me, there is no medical evidence that points to saturated fat as the cause for any health problem. I have nothing wrong with putting a tax on unhealthy foods. But they are taking bad science and making it more difficult than it already is for people to eat foods that are actually healthy. They should do…
