I've been doing keto for about four weeks. Since my main weakness is sugar and bread, this is the best thing I've done so far. After the first week my sugar/bread cravings were completely gone and I've tested positive for ketosis for three weeks. Feel amazing - no food comas, lethargy, inflammation. Definitely gonna keep…

I'm 5'11 and at my lowest I was 148 and looked sickly. Right now I'm aiming for 160, so 79 more to go.

How did you get your eggs poached like that?? Gorgeous.

Ha, not sure if you want me to share this - but I'm on Soylent with Green Superfood Powder + Protein. You're jelly, I know you are. AGH! Soylent Green! ;)

I love Soylent; I've been using it off/on for almost a year. Haven't tried the liquid version; I like the powder version as I can customize it more easily.

Soylent.

I prefer muscular calves over boots any day.

I'm just here for the puns...

I switched to black tea relatively easily - less jittery and still able to sleep when having a cup after 1:00pm.

Thanks for helping to keep us on-topic. Quick Soylent follow up - SO and I went out for steaks last night (to celebrate Pi Day, of course!) and going from all-Soylent to a 12-oz sirloin was a bit tiresome for my system. Woke up feeling hungover. After resuming Soylent and getting a good workout in, I'm feeling much better.…

I really wish I liked pizza. I feel as if I'm missing out on something important...

I mix it at night and keep it in the fridge. One pitcher usually lasts me two days.

Drinking Soylent while reading all this. =)

Breakfast!

Apologies, I should have clarified - this has been my conversations both online and with friends and coworkers, not this thread in particular. =)

It's amusing how defensive I need to be about Soylent. It really seems to upset some people, on a personal level even. Interesting, that.

Soylent, like anything, is not one size fits all. For instance, my SO and I went into this together, but after a time he determined that it was not meeting his caloric needs (he is a powerlifter) so he uses it as a late-night calorie supplement but not as a general meal replacement. I, on the other hand, am trying to lose…

Impressive daily cost on your DIY - I may experiment with a DIY version after a couple of months.

On that note, does anyone have v1.4 yet? I've seen mixed reviews insofar...I should be getting my v1.4 in April.
-
I asked for feedback on people's experiences with Soylent, not an anti-Soylent diatribe. I suggest starting an anti-Soylent thread for you to share your platform? For everyone else, thank you so much for contributing! Catching up on posts. Good stuff - happy to find so many people on here!

All I know is - Soylent makes it hella easy to fill out my food log. ;)

Seems like the people who *aren't* using Soylent are far more vocal than those who *are*. Which seems to be par for the course, I've found. I'm going to keep using it because 1) I enjoy it, and 2) It has been helping with my fatigue and inflammation issues. It's simple...if you don't want to use Soylent, well,…

I've been tempted to buy green food coloring. Ya know, for effect. ;)

Soylent with a dash of Torani's sugar free syrups is a good option for those who don't like the taste. My SO likes the chocolate flavor. I personally enjoy soylent without any added flavors, but that's just me. =)
-
I've been on Soylent (v1.3) for a week and am loving it.
-
It does, yes. Unfortunately I'm about 40lbs overweight so I do have a bit to lose, which is why this is so frustrating. =(

My boyfriend does powerlifting, and his workout buddy is a vegan and had amazing gains in the last six months - apparently he eats a *lot*. =)
-
Perfect - thanks so much!!

Right?

Gorgeous and wish I had a bosom like that. ;)
