I would like to save money by working out at home, but I know I wouldn't make myself do it. It would feel like a chore to me.. when I'm at home, I just want to relax. My membership is very cheap, and I feel good saying that I'm going to the gym to work out.. and I always feel good afterwards. The only thing I hate is…

I don't do "cheat" days, but I do eat things in moderation. I haven't cut things out of my diet completely, but that doesn't mean I won't lose weight. It just means I eat smaller amounts of so called "bad" foods. I don't see the point in cutting things out when I know I'll end up eating them again once I lose the weight.

Yeah.. pretty much everything is closed on Thanksgiving day in Canada, which is in October. & our Thanksgiving is celebrating something different from the American version and with slightly different foods. (no sweet potatoes with marshmallows etc.)

Same numbers I got.. I've seen my doctor and she was no help - she doesn't know a thing about the subject. I'm waiting for an appointment with a dietitian before I change my calorie intake. For now, it's 1300.

You, apparently, since you're taking the time to reply to this.

I doubt we will ever see one in Canada. :\

hubby and wifey are equally annoying, but if mrs. and mr. smith want to call each other hubby and wifey, they can go right ahead.. as long as I don't have to listen to it.

I'm 5'1" 24 145 120 (i think..not 100% yet)

We keep it in the fridge.. it stays good for so long!

multivitamin with extra iron, ferrous gluconate, caclium, b6 & vitamin D.

This is my exact problem. I NEVER get enough protein.. I honestly don't really know what to eat to get a ton of protein. I was thinking of buying some whey.. :embarassed:

I like it thick because that's how my mom always made it. I just boil some water with the electric kettle and pour in however much I want.

Have you thought about taking supplements? I am anemic and I've been told by a doctor to take several ferrous gluconate tablets a day, on top of a multivitamin+iron. Just a thought.. I am also unsure of iron rich foods other than red meat.. maybe certain beans. Would be good to know.

Initially, I DID have it set to 1200, but that wasn't giving me a 500 deficit and I didn't like that.. I usually end up netting more than 1200 anyway, though.

Chocolate! We sometimes have it anyway, though. We're pretty good about having a little bit and putting the rest away.

I like Just Right cause it has granola in it, which I love. Multigrain Cheerios are good, too. For super sugary cereals, I love French Toast Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch - the latter is too delicious. Oh, and raisin bran!

bump.. I need to make these.

Thanks. I did turn the beeping off already, but it was still beeping. I figured out that it stops after a few minutes because it's no longer looking for a heart rate. and I won't be purchasing a body bugg etc. because they are far too expensive.

In Canada, I've never seen anything called "canadian" bacon.. I'm not sure what Americans are talking about when they mention it. Probably just ham. We have this thing called Peameal bacon, though.. usually more expensive and looks entirely different than what you'd expect of bacon.

I just got one this morning.. now I need to figure out how to use it.

Well, Thanksgiving has long been over in Canada (October 10th ;)), so I don't have to worry about that. For Christmas, I don't plan to log on the actual day or probably eve, simply because it's complicated.. unless we just stay home, then I'll be making the food myself and it'll be easier to log. I'm definitely going to…

I'm so confused about all of this. I've tried to look up what my BMR might be, but it seems that it's completely different depending on the website I use. If it's true that I should be eating at least that, then I need to up mine - although I usually do end up eating more than that with exercise cals, anyway.. I also…

Yeah, of course it is. This is a no brainer.

Apple slices with Peanut butter. so delicious! hummus with carrots a hard boiled egg
-
I've never even tried Skinny Cow.. ridiculously priced! I don't enjoy getting ripped off.
-
I occasionally drink a Rockstar Recovery. I like it because it's only 20 cals and isn't carbonated. Definitely not an everyday thing, though.
-
28, but I really don't care about BMI since I don't consider it accurate at all.
-
I don't mind it. I think about it all the time, though.. I sometimes obsess over it too much! I'm always on my iphone app and I log right away.
