This morning I put on my old SIZE 12 JEANS!!! I know that's not a huge deal to some people, but to me it is enormous!!!! I have been in the 14's for a really flippin' long time and I was talking to my husband this morning about how I was so frustrated and I just said I was going to try them on and I did and they fit!!!!

I have a Lemond 2008! It's blue - road bike. I love it!!!
-
CHEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!!!!

It might be muscle if you've been working hard - it's discouraging to step on that scale and have it say that you've gained, but muscle weighs more than fat, so take heart! (and take your measurements), I find that weeks when I gain weight I sometimes lose inches.

I think that people who have few calories left at the end of the day are not doing anything WRONG, they are doing something RIGHT - spreading things out well throughout the day!!! I am working on that, it's hard for me because I tend to not eat a lot until dinner time and then I blow it at night and it's not good for my…

Yeah, I actually saw wrong and have 500 some left. SIGH. If you are hungry, I would say a PB and J.
-
true that, true that.
-
And I'm really not hungry. Am I screwing myself over not to eat them? I walked for 2 hours with my son tonight (he's only 3 and a half, so it wasn't that brisk).
-
yay! great job!
-
I think you did a GREAT job considering.

Just completed Day 2 of Week 2 this morning. It's getting tough!
-
Eat the exercise calories or you'll pay for it with dizziness and nausea AND your body will keep storing fat!!! I have found that eating several meals throughout the day, sticking to the caloric intake recommended on this site and eating all the calories possible within the range given to you AND keeping up a regular…
-
PS - You just did 42 push-ups and it's only week 2!!! Think about it!!!! You can reach the goal!
-
In answer to a couple people's questions: Doing the 100 consecutively IS possible since every time you are doing the work outs you are doing sets. Before the week you do the hundred you are doing a hundred, just not consecutively. Two sets of 30 is 60 push-ups people! That's intense! As for the lopsidedness, it's probably…

That I didn't want to put my weight in today? I lost 2 pounds since last check-in, but I have been at this weight before and I don't want to put it in because I don't want to be disappointed if next week I step on the scale and it's back up to what it was before. Is that messed up or what?

I also have SAAD, but mine occurs in the Spring, contrary to most. I have found that in order to stay motivated to go out of the house AT ALL I need friends to be calling and my hubby to keep on me to MAKE me go out. I never WANT to, but I find that once I do it helps. Get friends to take turns calling you and literally…

I know you guys are all ahead of me - I just started week 2 - but I'm already noticing a huge difference in my arms!!! Whoo hoo!!!
-
Dude, you are NOT alone in that. Two days ago I had dinner (spaghetti with soy crumbles and corn) and then I went to a rehearsal and there was pizza. So I ate Papa Johns cheese pizza with the regular crust. Three slices. I felt awful afterward and KNEW I would, but ate it anyway because pizza is just so darn good!!!! It's…

oh sigh. Alas. I miss greasy hashed browns, white toast, and scrambled eggs with cheese!!!!
-
I want to do this for sure. I love to read!
-
You look amazing!!!!
-
ugh. The economy needs to fix so we can all afford to buy better food - lol!
-
Yeah. Just balanced the checking account and we have like 5 bucks left. Hate it.
-
I know this is totally jumping the gun, but it's been on my mind so I want to ask so I can stop stressing about it. What happens when you have met your goal here? Do you just sort of drop off the planet and you are done? Do you keep the calorie deficit or change it? When you've lost a little weight do you go in and change…

rock on! :drinker:

very cool. Good to remember, and if we think about it - a pound is a LOT of fat - I mean, holy cow, just think of a quarter pound burger from McDonalds and then add three more to it - that's how much we've lost when we lose just one pound!
-
mmmmmm- want it!
-
ugh - looks like I'm gonna have to go with the HRM. My husband has one, but I don't think I'll like the thing on my chest.
