Muffin Top
I am SO happy with everything about my body. Accept my middle. I don't get it. I feel like I'm working really hard, especially with my diet, but I'm not seeing a change. I lost weight quickly after I had my daughter but can't seem to shake this middle fat. Anyone been there? Any special tips?

I rode 35 miles on my bike today!!!! It was a huge accomplishment for me. The farthest I've gone before is 18 miles. :bigsmile: I am in pain. :laugh:

This morning I put on my old SIZE 12 JEANS!!! I know that's not a huge deal to some people, but to me it is enormous!!!! I have been in the 14's for a really flippin' long time and I was talking to my husband this morning about how I was so frustrated and I just said I was going to try them on and I did and they fit!!!!

That I didn't want to put my weight in today? I lost 2 pounds since last check-in, but I have been at this weight before and I don't want to put it in because I don't want to be disappointed if next week I step on the scale and it's back up to what it was before. Is that messed up or what?

Today's a rest day. Sticking to the diet, drinking lots of water. Found a tri club in the area, hopefully joining in January because that's when their dues start over - they do lots of open water training and have runs together once a week.

Just got back from a 10 mile bike ride - averaged 12.8 mph - that's the best I've ever done!!! I'm going for 13 miles at the same speed next weekend. Hoping to hit the pool tomorrow - if not, it's back to the road with the running shoes.
