epic bike ride

Totally went on a 45 mile bike ride Saturday. My farthest ride before that was 35 miles last September. This season I've only been doing 10 mile loops each Saturday.
The ride was amazing. I went with my hubby and we had a blast. I couldn't walk for two days after but it was totally worth it. We forded a river, took our bikes illegally through a construction site, rode through a pitch black tunnel, ate eggplant parm sandwiches and Clif bars, asked for extra water at a random farmhouse, got chased by a huge black dog and more!
Get out and ride, ya'll!

Sounds awsome! I am fairly addicted to biking, mostly on roads...some rail-trails. I live in a hilly part of Eastern PA and am luck to live in an area with lots of paved farm roads with little traffic. Dogs can be a problem, but I have a faster bike!0
