I like having 1/2 cup muesli with greek yoghurt, raspberries and blueberries with a little bit of milk. Works out to be approx 400 calories (with full fat yoghurt) and keeps me going until lunchtime :)

I'm going pretty badly! I hurt my foot, and I've had 2 weeks with not much exercise due to birthday and xmas celebrations!! On the plus side, I've lost 8 cm from my waist, and 5 kgs (it was 6.5 kgs but I've put a bit back on, oops) How are you going?
-
I use 1.5 kg for everything except the one where you're lying down and holding the weights above your chest (geez, I really should know what that's called by now) which I use 2.5 kgs for, and they're still quite light. Chest flys, that's the one!! The side lunge with anterior raise is hard for me too!

I started last week - I don't do it everyday, probably 2 or 3 times a week, as I'm also doing C25k - I'm up to day 5. Still can't get the hang of lunges.... does it ever get easier??? LOL

I'll be your friend :) I've only recently started eating paleo, so I'm still getting there, had a few slips here and there but it's nice to have other diaries to look at :)

Hi Julie, I'm Mel! I'm also 29 (for 2 more weeks!), been married just over 2 years, and trying to lose the weight I've put on over the past decade. I've lurked for a while, but trying to be more active, because I find it helps me stay accountable Feel free to add me as a friend. I hope you enjoy your journey :)

I bought some paleo cookbooks recently - Well Fed and Well Fed 2. There's some tips in the first book about how to make the most out of your time in the kitchen, by spending 1-2 hours on a weekend doing some prep, e.g. partially cooking veggies, making a stew, hard boiling some eggs, roasting some sweet potatos, chopping…

I am! I'm doing L2R, it's fun :)

I haven't been eating primal/paleo for very long. When I started, I didn't log anything and I didn't weigh anything, I just tried to focus on what my body was telling me. I have since manually set my calorie goal to be TDEE - 20%, and I set my macros to (C/F/P = 20/45/35). I'm trying to keep carbs to 50-100 g per day,…

Hello! I'm lactose intolerant (and have been my whole life) and also have fructose and sorbitol malabasorption (for about 12 months), which my dietician translated as I have IBS. She suggested I eat a mostly wheat free diet and avoid high-fructose foods, and to avoid legumes and soy. I tried that for a while, and felt…

ME TOO! Apparently, I have been not buying new clothes for 3 years, because that's how long I've been trying to lose this weight. Well, maybe talking about losing the weight, not trying to well obviously!! haha

I just started C25K too :) I downloaded RunDouble on my android phone. It tells me when to run, when to walk, and then it tells me when I'm halfway through, so I can turn around and head home! I'm a fan :) I don't really plan where I'm running, I just head out the door and run on the footpath. Yesterday I went up to the…

When I was 25, I lost 20 kgs or so without focusing on it - I was walking to and from work, walking to the supermarket, walking when I met up with friends. I pretty much gave up driving for 3 months after a car accident that I was a passenger in. Then, I started living with my now-husband, and stacked all the weight back…

MEEEEE! I've been very slack for a very long time, so I've started over. Feel free to add me, I'm awesome :p

I only have canned corn or tomatoes, and generally frozen peas & corn, but I try to have fresh everything. I don't like frozen vegs anywhere near as much as fresh, and I've never really eaten canned veggies, they just don't sound appealing! Like, asparagus spears in a can just sounds wrong.

Geez, I'm way overcharged for eggs here [Australia]. At the supermarket, I think they vary from $4-$8 per dozen. I always pick free range and try to get organic. I think that non-supermarket eggs taste better so I would go the farm ones. I've never seen a partially formed chicken in my eggs before, but now I know what i'm…

Choc-top dipped in movie popcorn. Love the salty and sweet combo.

I'm trying to reduce my booze intake too - I only had one glass of wine last week, which is great for me. A few months ago it was 2-3 glasses per night. I miss my red wine, but I don't miss the side effects!

I've been on it short term twice (for asthma). Didn't notice any side effects from taking it. Not sure about weight gain, because I couldn't go back to the gym until I got my asthma under control - if I had any weight gain, it was probably minor, and probably due to my lack of exercise (I was pretty much couch-bound). All…

Hello! I'm in Northcote :) Welcome to the social side of things....

I'm in Northcote :)

I signed up for it today- it's my first time doing 12wbt. Looking forward to it, but I'm not sure I agree with the 1200 calories per day...

VIRTUAL HIGH FIVE!!! ^5 I have recently made the transition from being weight obsessed with daily weigh ins, to weekly, and now to fortnightly weigh ins, with the aim to do monthly (it's hard for me to let go of the scale!) I go by how my clothes fit, and what my husband says - he's very good at noticing my weight loss :)…

One word: Banana. It's delicious and nutritious! I generally have half a banana about 30 mins before I workout in the mornings,

I can't believe people waste water having 3+ showers a day or having 30 minute showers. Don't move to Australia! You wouldn't cope with the water restrictions (although, they are a lot more lenient this year than they were 12 months ago)

I'm up to week 4 of C25K too, and I really struggle with the 5 minute runs. My trainer tells me to take deep breaths in through my nose, and breathe out through my mouth, but I never feel like I get enough air in. I also have asthma, so when I feel like I'm not getting enough air I tend to panic (unnecessarily). I think…
